The Billings Gazette is ranking he top 100 players in the league. The paper does a good job at finding different ways to bring attention to the players in the league. http://m.billingsgazette.com/sports/college/big-sky-conference/best-of-the-big-sky-ranking-the-top-players-in/article_4d1d67e6-14a4-51ec-92be-4e7e646fc329.html?mobile_touch=true

Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton Conversation
homer replied to UND-FB-FAN's topic in NCAA News
I'd say if all the BigSky schools, including Idaho have a home after a split/shakeup happens, he did his job. -
Also, here is an article with a quote from your interim AD at the time the contract was signed saying the nickel trophy is no longer part of the tradition. As much as you want it to be true, your athletic director agreed to it in the final negotiations and it was covered up front. http://www.inforum.com/content/ndsu-interim-athletic-director-says-taylor-spearheaded-renewing-und-football-games

Maybe it was part of the deal when Gene Taylor kept moving goalposts to get the series restarted. It could have been part of the contract that Gene let sit on his desk. After all , according to your athletic dept this is just another game to fill the schedule.

Never intended to put words your mouth. I was responding to Dans comment. Why compare ticket prices to Montana prices? Why not compare them to a "conference rival" that your fanbase loims forward to year in and year out. It's the constant down play of this game by some of your fanbase that is amusing. -

The article below says Griz sideline tickets went on sale last year for $45. So are you comparing the same tickets, is the article wrong or did Dan exaggerate his price to try and prove a point? http://www.wday.com/content/bison-football-ticket-prices-sky-rocket-secondary-sites Edit: Never mind- I saw he was posting about this year and I read it wrong. He's trying to compare the ticket prices in Montana to the prices in Fargo. Whatever it takes to try and justify this game not being a big deal. -

Most do but no one chimed in to stop the bidonville logic being argued with Schlossman yesterday. It was entertaining. "Money isn't an issue at NDSU". -

According to NDSU fans tweets yesterday, money isn't an issue at NDSU. -

Kansas and Iowa St received roughly 30 million each last year from Conference distributions. That's big boy money. I think they could afford more scholorahips to keep receiving that money. Plus, many conference commissioners are on record stating that figure will increase in the coming years. So to answer your question, Kansas and Iowa st will stay right where they are. -
I know your 70 miles south but do you understand the !@#$ storm that would show up at the Fargodome of the buckle trophy was on the line?

There was also earlier talk of P5 schools wanting to add scholarships. If they add 10-15 scholorahips, that's a big difference. -
LOL. Could we get Jim Ross on the mic to do a WWE entrance? "Oh my God, its UND athletic director Brian Faison."
-
Which is why they fired their coach. It's like the FU teams from when the Fargodome opened until 2010.

Couple of snubs- Will Ratelle not being named at LB Carson Wentz not being selected at QB Sorry if this has been posted already.

This along with offensive line play. Last year we had below average production from the QB, part of that was because we had below average Oline play.

Congrats to Jeff. Way to capitalize on an opportunity.

Body pulled from Red River in north Moorhead.

The Sioux Football Insider blog does a great job of tracking all players for a given year and lists them on the right side of the page. I believe 3 former FBS guys will be on the team next season- Georges, Arrington and Baker. The window for bringing anyone else in is nearly closed with camp being less than a month away although it impossible to write anything off entirely. Our coaches seem to be very well connected.

Any win over a FBS is a great win for a FCS program.
-
Congrats to Jeff. Great performance and great interviews. Represented himself, the program and the university very well.
-
Haha. Good point.

Agreed. The Al would look completely different with some big windows along the walkways.

I was in Grand Forks and went by this facility this past weekend. These pictures don't do it justice. The size of this building is so impressive. I can't wait to see it completed and Faison and company have to be very aggressive to get Phase 2 started. This will be one of the finest training facilities in the nation when its done.
