They still have games against EWU, Weber and ISU. While all at home, all are very tough games. A lot of the top 6 have games remaining vs. one another. UND's remaining schedule is actually very favorable if we can get back on track.
-
I think I showed up for class the day they talked about how one bad apple can ruin an entire barrel.
-
I will ad that marketing needs to get creative going forward but I do not fault lack of marketing for poor attendance in the past. The product on the field was poorly prepared and played with little effort. Not very fun to watch.
-
Not a bad idea. You won't want to continue that marketing if people start getting e coli and walking out halfway through their meals. Word of mouth spreads pretty quickly when people aren't satisfied with your service. If you hit that point you can spend all the money you want and those customers aren't coming back overnight.
-
Its easier to spread the message when you have a successful team that people enjoy watching. I don't think you could have payed people to show up a few years ago. They could have put billboards on every parking ramp and corner in Grand Forks and had a commercial every TV break and it wouldn't have mattered.
-
And the regional competitors you are comparing them too were equally as bad. Do I think they could improve, yes. But you also cannot ignore the fact that the product they have had to market has not been good. You can't market a broken product to people and expect them to spend money on it. People who came to games the 3-4 years ago watched a team that didn't play hard and lost....alot. It wasn't a good product to watch. You don't turn that around overnight regardless how easy you think that is.

Yet you keep coming back here.

We'll agree to disagree. Kids want to play where they win. I live in Fargo hear the same arguments as above. I don't buy into any of them.
-
Your example is great for a family in Wisconsin. Use those same examples for a family in Dickinson, Bismarck or Minot. Location is a tough argument. In my view facilities, winning and relationships are more important for recruiting. Also need to factor the location of alumni after they leave GF.
-
But they have a survey......... just saying
-
I never heard anything about this. You would think something like this would get local media attention.
-
That is what I was thinking. You forget that FU fans know exactly which schools are offering because they announced it second. All of them knew UNI was offering this year.
-
The one where the guy caught the ball at the three point line and didn't dribble into his layup? I wasn't sure how that wasn't called either.
-
Disappointing. Why was Collins in there
-
There were times last night that the guys didn't play the team basketball we have become used to seeing the last couple of weeks. Hoping they can learn from this tape, get coached up on what went wrong and move on. Get a win on Saturday vs. Idaho and a top 4 seed is still very realistic.
-
Team is off a couple steps tonight and played flat. No flow to the offense and gave EWU too many open looks when we were on D. Hopefully they can bounce back Saturday.
-
He's made it rain more than that at Judy's on a Thursday night.
-
I wonder if there was a situation like Mussman had that if Lennon got back into coaching, his buyout money from SIU was void. Or he possibly wanted a break or wanted to be done with coaching.
-
Pretty solid slate of home games next season. That is without any of the traditional Big Sky powers on the schedule.
-
I'll give credit where it's due. He coached a good game last night and gave his players all the praise in the article today.
-
But top 4 get a first round buy.
-
It's comical and I like that
-
I was thinking about Avants getting the start as well but do you change it up if your Jones. The rotation now is working.
-
I agree with Shanks. He needs one solid game right now to get some confidence back. He did play some valuable 2nd half minutes yesterday so maybe he could build on that.
