Proof that entries to the chat shouldn't be made while taking meds or sailing with the Captain.

The good news for the Sioux is that the Tigers have a short bench due to the injuries. They lost a Dman Friday with a concussion and from last nights game a forward Thauwald to a knee injury. For their efforts the Tigers are a bruised and tired team so time for the Sioux to step it up and take advantage. At least one win over the #1 team will do wonders for the PWR rankings.

Absolutely, they get what amounts to living expenses. In addition to their room and board they get some weekly pocket change for incidentals. I also agree that picking the team is a significant factor. If Toews had been drafted by the Brandon Wheat Kings (a similar distance to Winnipeg) he may have opted for the CHL. Clearly this family cares about making the right choice as they even opted for SSM over their sons playing their AAA hockey in Winnipeg

If I was watching the same game as everyone else, I noted several occaisions where Smaby's weak shoot outs were intercepted at the blueline or passes that failed to click with the forwards. Clearly he knows he is making mistakes because several times he slammed his stick down in disgust after his errors. There is definitely room for improvement but I still think our defence is fine and the question remains what to do with some of the Senior forwards who are underachieving. Who should we play against CC?

CC has run Briggs. Three minutes to go and 5-3 CC. Chuck just got a major for hitting Stirling from behind.

Half way through the third and it is 5-2 CC. They are completely overwhelming the Goofers.

3-2 CC to start the third. Based on what I have seen of his play, Sterling is the key to stopping CC. Sertich finishes off of Sterlings hard work. For your laugh of the day, Lucy's new target is USA Hockey. Apparently he intends to formally complain that Hgaemo was overplayed with his shoulder injury at the World Juniors. There is always someone out to shaft the poor Goofers.

Sunday night game is 1-1 after the first period. CC is getting quite beat up physically by the Gophers and lost one of their regulars Patrosso with a concussion in last nights game and Sweat appears to be banged up tonight. With any luck CC will manage another win tonight but will be exhausted and hurting when the Sioux play them next weekend. I can only hope as I don't want to be in the World Arena to watch a lop-sided win by CC

You may be on to something as Canadians hate to lose at hockey regardless of the level. It often inspires them to outplay individuals and teams that sometimes have more talent than they do.

If you like Walleye, the Blue Moose is another good choice right near Cabellas.

Regardless of the Goaltending situation some of the senior players just aren't delivering. It seems like several times this year I have heard about Massen burying the puck in practise but it just doesn't seem to be a game type player. Also what is up with Fylling, is he playing injured. How else can you explain a single goal in 24 games for a player like that. With the exception of Genoway and Fuhr the team is being carried offensively by the Sophmores and Freshmen which has got to change if this team is going to go anywhere.

DU managed to squeek out a 1-0 win over MTU. The league has become very nebulous.

When asked about the two goalies Hak has always maintained that he will play both unless someone gives him reason not too. Tonight Parise made a mistake that cost the Sioux a chance to win and it is going to cost him some starts. I predict that the Lammy fans will get their wish next week. Recall that Brandt used to make similar mistakes under Blaiser and he used to sit a few rotations for doing so.
