I agree, and how many other 20+ goal players might there be between Zajac, Spirko, Stafford Toews and Duncan.

Wow, great story Rick. MSU's error was our gain and did they ever go in a different direction.

You made me laugh so hard at suggesting Lucy that I almost blew my coffee out my nose. Although rumour has it that Lucy may be up for some form of Psychiatric Award.

Brady Murray was expected to be this teams offensive leader. Given that he was a non-factor most of the season and the teams sub-par performance right up until two months ago, there can only be one answer. Runner-up is always a tough pill to swallow but I am still pleased that they managed to make it this far.

As the last few seconds were winding down, the ESPN announcers revealed that Matt Greene's elbow had been bothering him all through the playoffs. They claimed that he only had the strength of a 10 year old in that arm yet he was still able to out-muscle all other players. I haven't lost hope that he will give us one more year.

Thanks for the great season and good luck to all the seniors in their future endeavours.

Mannino can have bad games. Just remember that the Dogz pumped 5 goals past him in only a period and a half. http://www.uscho.com/box/?date=20050219&vi...ome=du&gender=m

That is too funny Perhaps those are surgical gloves and Gwozdecky is also the team proctologist

What are they thinking. I believe he could have been awarded the hit of the game.

One minor correction, Michigan officially ended Bucky's season.

One last piece of praise from the ESPN2 crew that I don't believe has been mentioned. Clement also praised Schneider's ability to poke-check opposing players at the blue-line.

Clement grew up in a Frech Canadian town in Quebec so he tried to pronounce like a Frechman would.

Based on how both teams have done with recruiting we'll give you a rematch in next year's Frozen Four.

Heck, Belfour has looked that way since he left the Sioux, and given his build and style many doubted he would star in the NHL. You just never know with goalies as many of them have played some of their best hockey into their Forties. Johnny Bower did it with Toronto in the sixties and helped them win a Stanley Cup. If their joints and reflexes hold up they can play alot longer than the skaters.

They did comment that he had some demons to exorcise. Maybe Lucy had to perform an exorcism.

Yes, it definitely seemed that the Ref didn't want to put the Goofers down a man when they were trailing 4-0 and even Clement commented that the Gophers got away with a few. Another character win and I hope Jordan is okay from the hit. I also loved the ESPN 2 coverage as they constantly panned the audience and showed most of the Sioux fans celebrating goals. I know I spotted NorthDakotaHockey and I also believe I spotted PCM. Who was it that I had their face painted and had a large Sioux pennant hanging from their neck. I have to get one. I also loved Belfours reaction to Parise's great glove save on the backhander to keep it 1-0. One more guys, you can do it.

It is quite possible that Rory picked Harrington because he knows that he is an easy target or victim for the trash talk. It appears to have worked! Ah the delicate Gopher Psyche, punching walls, crashing the net, and fabricating their rebuttals. What a fun bunch to watch lose.

I believe that originated at this link: http://siouxsports.com/forums/index.php?sh...826entry69826

Futhermore, none of them had a temper tantrum in front of a live audience. Very unprofessional behaviour from a hockey player. Glad it was a Gopher.
-
And we are all glad he did. What an embarassment to his program and school. Someone else for Prpich to verbally victimize on Thursday night.
-
I tried asking Briggs if he found his cup after the Spirko goal in the Final Five and they wouldn't run that one either.

Well done Sioux fans as the poll has closed with Money as the clear winner.
