Because they are a fast but tiny team that was designed to do well on their larger pond here in Colorado Springs. They can't compete with a large physical team like Michigan on a regular ice surface. That is why I maintained from the beginning that they got shafted by the NCAA selection process that seems to send them to Michigan's home turf every time. Unfortunately I had also picked Maine to advance and I thought they would be good for at least one goal against the Gophers. I got a good chuckle out of all the number one signs being flashed by the Gopher fans. Their anemic offence and sloppy play won't buy them to many more victories. They will have just as difficult time scoring against Cornell and perhaps the outcome will be different tomorrow.
