Ah ha. So I guessed right about his trip to LA. Since his rights belong to the team and given who is father is I am certain he got nothing but the best expert care and hopefully will be ready go next fall. Speedy recovery Brady.
-
I believe it was from this years OHL All-Star Game, the skills competition to be specific.
-
Actually, fighting between recruits at an NHL training camp is a fairly common event. Greene could offer that he just wanted to show his team that they are getting the complete package and that perhaps they should reconsider keeping a punching bag like Pocketbitch around.
-
With the victim of size rationale I guess we should expect about as much rationale thought and advice out Gwozdecy as say the Travelocity Garden Gnome. Another sign idea for next year!
-
Regarding next year, I hate to ask but what awaits the poor guy in the 10th grade?
-
Wow, if Bina pursues this legally it could be interesting time for the punk. At the very least I would expect some interesting signs the next time we play DU.
-
I think most of us wish nothing but the best for Tyler but there will always be a group that sees nothing wrong with ridiculing his situation. So be prepared, if he does play next season to see a bunch of "Screwy Squirrel" signs at the REA next season.
-
The hot dog is Rob Hisey of the Barrie Colts in the Ontario Major Junior League. I recall that he was originally drafted by Dallas but I seem to recall that his rights may belong to San Jose. Apparently he has an ego and attitude to go with his interesting skills which may help explain why he is being carried by Barrie as one of their overage entitlements rather than earning a paycheck in the AHL.
-
That is the best suggestion yet. How do you get it presented to the league?
-
You could be right. In fact, for all we know, Murray knew his season was over and is finally having the required surgery to his shoulder performed by an LA Team Specialist.
-
Apparently the conference schedule is complete but each team hasn't necessarily completed its Exhibition and Non-conference schedules. Any chance we can see just the conference schedule?
-
I think the Alerus is an excellent place for a BB regional especially since there isn't any football going on.
-
With McMahon graduating, Kaips future in doubt, and a lack of grinders coming in you would have to think he is going to be tasked in the same role next year.
-
And everyone wonders why the ice at the REA is so terrible. I guess we don't have a hockey rink anymore. Too bad.
-
With the tighter calls out East, Stafford may be free of the clutch and grab and this could be his big weekend of the season.
-
That is "DII" basketballs problem. The rink was built as home to the University's "DI" hockey team. If they now must play second fiddle to other less significant sports and events in their own building then something has gone terribly wrong at my old school.
-
Clement grew up right across the Ottawa River from me and I played some youth hockey against both him and Larry Robinson. Guess I finally gave my age away. He is a great analyst and I think he will appreciate the Sioux style of play. He might even see a bit of his former self in Rory McMahon. The good old NCAA newsclip has Barry Melmose vice Melrose doing the Amherst series.
-
And if your local police force didn't have a solid DUI program, I would wager that more people would take that chance and drive home drunk. Which further supports the notion that we need someone to actively and accurately enforce the hockey rules in the WCHA.
-
And why would you expect him to have to think about it when at worst the WCHA Ref would give him a minor for his effort. Thats an even bigger problem
-
As a player I was also encouraged to be agressive and we all like to push the envelope to see just how much we can get away with. It is human nature. The message the league is sending with its poor officiating and lack of calls is that headhunting is okay so go ahead and bash the stuffing out of the leagues elite players. Therefore, a league shakeup is required.
-
It would sure get the leagues attention if one of its elite teams decided that it had enough and applied to join the CCHA. It might hurt on the PWR but at least that team's fans would get to enjoy the true talent of their elite players.

So the Goofs are a number one seed again. Big deal! Based on their next opponents play they will be one and out. Maine has exceptional goaltending and Defence at the moment and the Goofs offence has gone south. My only disappointment is that it gives a team like Maine another easy path to the Frozen Four.
-
Does the league care? I think not as there has been nothing but silence regarding the whole matter involving Robbie Bina. What will it take to get change? I think some of the posters are correct that it will take a collective outcry from school officials. Without action we may be reading some players obituary next time.
