What happened to Fabian?
-
No phantom Sioux assist for Woog to complain about that is unbelievable.
-
Ah Mr "I make them up as I go" Adams
-
The Pies were without Larsen and Ulanski last weekend due to injuries. Does anyone know if they are minus these two players again this weekend? It could be a factor

I was thinking of Ellsworth in particular. He did nothing the first half of the season yet he gets picked as an AS

Tonight merely reconfirmed two things for me. It is a league travesty that Genoway wasn't selected as an All-Star. Futhermore, based on his obssesive/compulsive disorder regarding the Sioux Doug Woog wasn't fit to be a DI coach; however, there might be a few suitable DIII openings for him.
-
I am even more shocked that Genoway didn't at least make the third team. More motivation for the team to kick butt the rest of the season.
-
Go with Lammy tomorrow afternoon and hope he can steal one for what will probably be a tired team compared to the Pies.
-
Sorry, I think you selected and posted on the wrong forum. Please discuss this former Goofer Flit-boy elsewhere.

You can bet that this subject would be the number complaint out of whining Goofer fans if the roles were reversed and this assinine rule was applied in Bucky's home rink everyyear instead. Just like the Goofs did to the league in the early sixties regarding the use of Canadian players, they would probably threaten to pick up their puck and go home. Funny how they don't seem to mind anything that tips the scales of fairplay in their favor. They are so easy to hate.

The article fails to mention that he was honored as the U-17 tournaments top player. Imagine if Jason Spezza, Bochenski's current AHL linemate and the leagues leading scorer, had elected to play for the Sioux instead of playing Major Junior Hockey and you have a fairly good idea of what caliber of player the Sioux are getting.

11points in a weekend? HOLY COW! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Glad you evoked the name Commodore. Was there another Sioux player as good at dishing out a Gopher attitude adjustment? He always delivered a very clear hands off Karl message when the rodents would take their liberties. However Gophers aren't intelligent enough to learn from the misadventures and misfortunes of their peers.

Unfortunately, you may have to live with it as it is part of Lucy's style to win dirty if necessary. He was that way at CC and he has even openly encouraged Vanilla to bring out the dirty edge like his father within the media. Thats okay, because when the opporutnity presents itself, I enjoy nothing more than watching one of our Canadian Prairie Boys giving a Goofer hack a little attitude adjusment.
-
Great award for Roryand article about the team. I wonder who would like to play the Sioux now.
-
Most Goons know how to fight and based on his limited track record Vanilla can't so in my mind he is just another in a long line of dirty Gophers. The closest thing the Gophers have to a true Goon is UpChucko.

As was stated the night before, he would also get his for his after the whistle pop on Murrays bad shoulder. You mess with the bull and you get the horn.
-
I guess it was Hamilton and Dowell who got DQs for exchanging punches last night.
-
Did anyone hear what Burrish did last night to get the DQ?
-
While Brady was being held, I did see him get in at least one awesome elbow that even Gordie Howe would have been proud of.
-
Peluso deserves more than a flame. The way he took out Green at the knees could have resulted in a season or even career ending injury. Why would he do that at the end of a game where the result was not in doubt. He is a classless player and will get his someday.

Right you are Diggler, and the faithful chat members who have been there all season seem to be getting jumped by members who didn't bother to show up or post when the team wasn't doing so well. Remember everyone this is a chat so you don't have to like or agree with anything else other members post. Most of us are devoted Sioux fans so save the blading for the Goofer fans who intrude from time to time.

I would gladly take this bracket too. IF the stinking Irish can hold the Wolverines to one overtime goal the Sioux should have not problems. Also Montoya is a sieve. Finally, to play Colorado College in a normal size hockey arena would suit the Sioux just fine.
