2005-Our first FF. Took the wife to celibrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Closed the bar in the hotel at 2:00 am and headed back to our room after beating the gophers. A couple doors down from us there were a bunch of pizza boxes piled up by the door and it was propped open. You could hear a party going on. I told the wife, lets go in but she didn't want to. I figured it must be Sioux fans so I finally confinced her to walk in with me. So we walked in and it was a large corner suite. Sitting in the living room area was Blazer, Coach Dave, Coach Brad, Coach Cary, steady Eddy, just to name a few. I wasn't there 10 sec and someone offered me a beverage and welcomed us in. We stayed only for one but still laugh about it today. good times !!

I really think JT would benefit from an additional year of physical maturity. He started a year ahead of his class and might need that additional muscle and strength to endure not only the NHL game but the grind of a long season. His skills speak for themselves but there is more to the big time then that. As far as the other topics that got thrown into this thread....................... I'm in. Four of us in section 122 Friday afternoon. I plan on drinking tap beer until my eyes float. As far as going to Matty B's Friaday a.m. and "interacting" with PA and Dubay, I'll be there long enough to throw up on Dubay.

It seems to me back when the Gophers were winning their national titles, they started the season slow and built it up at the end. The last couple of years, they started strong and finished weak. The Sioux have been the opposite. I wonder if the same thing is beginning to happen again this year ??

Thanks. I normally don't look to see if its listed since the home games always are on but I'm stuck with a house full of in-laws that are Gopher fans and they got to the paper first this morning and since the game wasn't' listed they assumed they would be watching the Gopher game tonight. I guess we'll let them watch the goofers on our period breaks.

At FM Sioux boosters yesterday, DH said he was signing three today.

A Bucky title would once again validate the WCHA for the umptheenth time and at the same time do an "in your face" job to the goofers. A win/win situation. Lets go Badgers !!!!!
