Hope there is a changing table in the locker room at the BSA, because the F'n Hawks need a diaper change at halftime.....

Seriously, Walter?
-
I don't think anyone does except maybe himself.....
-
I love Seales, but he should take a lap every time he shoots a 3 pointer.....
-
I like the gray uniforms

Good start for the Hawks.......

790 on DirecTV depending on your package.......

Midco, ESPN3

I was gonna say when Mayville St beat us in 2009.............. But I guess you were looking for an upset WIN............. Beating SDSU shouldn't be considered a "big uspet" in any year. But I guess this is where this program is at...............

Seems odd that in 2021 on the final day of the regular season, we play SDSU while NDSU plays USD..........

Augie announces they are examining the move to DI
bincitysioux replied to Wildfan's topic in NCAA News
I felt the same way long before UND made the ill-advised decision to move to the SumValley. The Summit particularly is a transient league, it always has been, and it always will be. The fact that UND voluntarily made the decision to leave an association with schools like Idaho, Montanta, Montana St., UC Davis, and Weber for the dumpster fire that is the Summit tells me all I need to know about the long term vision of those that are in a leadership role at UND. -

This is confirmation of what I have argued for years: The Summit League is a complete joke........... No getting around that now. -
Well let's cut him some slack since he is a record setting coach. He is after all UNDs all time leader in the loss the column. Thats right, the losingest coach in the history of UND men's basketball. The lone member of the "200 Club". He has definitely left a mark.......a skid-mark.

I always chuckle at those who get so bent out of shape about not going for it on 4th down. Here are the Big Sky teams that led the league in 4th down attempts this year........ TEAM..........................RECORD #1 Southern Utah................1-10 #2 Northern Colorado.........2-9 #3 Idaho..............................4-7 #4 Cal Poly..........................5-6 But hey, those coaches sure did have balls...........................

We don't really have any proven skill players other than Wanzek and Johanneson.

Prior to this season they were $5000 per game. This season it was worth a $1000 per game.
-
Is this all possible with our current strength program and the guy that is leading it? I have my doubts...,....
-
Love the idea of Freund as ST Coordinator & QB coach......
-
Ya I believe is the head SC coaxh for all athletics EXCEPT hockey. Football should have a specific SC coach like they do, IMO........

Would rather have seen Kostich and Baukol go before Knauf....... I really can't believe Kostich isn't the first guy gone.......

Regarding Schweigerts "philosophy", he needs to have the ability to adapt to the players on the team. I suppose maybe that is what he has done during his time here, given the riches we've had at RB the last 4 years. But I remember when he was at Duluth, they had a scary wide open offense. Their QB, Schlafke, was outstanding, but they didn't force HB dives all day long. I wish the NCC stats were still available somewhere, because I bet UMD was near the top of the league during those years. There have been many posts that have said "Rudolph runs the offense that Bubba wants him to run". I can't imagine the offense we saw the last two weeks is the one Bubba wants. He needs to recognize that issue and eliminate it. If he isn't willing to do that, he needs to be gone.

Bubba will be making $205,000 when Valley play begins in 2020. That will definitely be on the bottom half of the league. It would cost UND $615,000 if they fired him in the morning. Which is why he will be back in 2019. Neilson at USD makes about $260,000. Kliemen is around $340,000 I think. If or when UND hires a new coach in the next few years, the salary will need to be in the $275,000 range.......

Big difference between Mussmans 8-3 year and Bubbas 9-2 year.......

I would really be shocked if Chaves fires Bubba, simply due to the economics of the contract situation and years left on it. I could however see a scenario where the AD demands that Bubba make changes to his coaching staff. What effect that would have on the AD-Head Coach relationship I would imagine would not be a positive one. Unless Bubba is actually thinking of making changes on his own right now. I don't know how common it would be for an AD to micromanage like that. In the end it could probably influence Bubba to walk away before his contract runs out. I honestly haven't completely closed the book on Bubba, like many here already have, but I am getting to the final chapters. I'm not sure I think it is best policy to be changing coaching regimes every 5 years. I wouldn't probably have the patience that I do if Schweigert hadn't already proven that he is capable of turning around a hot mess in pretty short order like he did with what he inherited from Mussman from 2014-16. Again not trying to change anybody's minds, I am as frustrated as anybody else. At minimum I better hear reports in the coming weeks that Rudolph and Kostich are packing their bags. And I don't mean for the recruiting trail.

So the hockey vs football argument, we are really going to start that already, 90 minutes after the FB season ended? OK, I'll play............ Born and raised in small town ND, 100 miles from GF. Big sports fan. Had no idea that UND had a hockey program until halfway through my first freshman semester in the fall of 1996. Currently a season ticket holder for both sports. So can't we all just get along?
