  1. You do make a difference. Come to the game!
  2. I've said this before, as others have as well, but I really feel a change should be considered at the top of the strength and conditioning program. Or at least put someone else in charge of the football team whose S&C program might be more football specific rather than for World's Strongest Man competitions. Not trying to place the entire blame on injuries, they are part of football, but guys were dropping like flies again yesterday. Things like pulling a hamstring can be directly related to conditioning right? Honestly, after special teams I have felt for a while that S&C might be the biggest liability of this program right now.
  3. Schweigert is under contract through the 2021 season. I think it would be highly unlikely that UND would buy out 3 years worth of his deal at this point. And i am not sure I feel that is warranted anyways. Something needs to be changed though, one (or more) of the coordinators I think. Special teams has been the worst for the longest. Personally, I don't know that our D has been any more consistent than the offense during the last 5 years. Schmidt hasn't done anything earn a pass IMO, when you compare his body of work to Rudolph's.......
  4. Well one guy that certainly needs to go without any debate is Kostich. Special teams have been a liability for 5 years, and only seem to get worse. 3 punt blocks in a season is atrocious.
  5. Idaho Dbacks are doing a great job covering our slow receivers as well. Not alot of guys getting open....
  6. It is not as bad as the DakotaDome in Vermillion. But nothing special. The PA system actually blows away the one at the Alerus. As far as the game, the Defense is doing enough thus far. Giving up yards but opportunistic and getting off the field. Ketteringham is not sharp, and the O-Line is losing the battle in the trenches.
  7. First fan to greet us in the Kibbie Dome was a Bison fan. Predictably he was a prick......
  8. About to walk into the Kibbles-n-Bits Dome. Hoping I see UND come out like they did against Montana. Defense needs to get after it today!
  9. Mollberg was quite possibly the most over-hyped recruit UND ever landed. He had a good arm, but always thought Bartels was the better QB on the roster in that era. I agree with you on Hansen and Hendrickson though. Was always more partial to Hendrickson myself.........
  10. Seriously, Mollberg?
  11. I have 5 lower bowl tickets listed for sale on the Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange, for the SATURDAY game against Wisconsin, November 3. 3 of them are in Section 102, Row F. 2 of them are in Section 103, Row P. $60 each.
  12. Spin it how you want, but IMO the defense has been a bigger liability than has the offense this year. Idaho St's offense is light years ahead of Weber's. And Weber's defense is light years ahead of Idaho St's. Comparing ISU and Weber is an apples to bowling balls comparison.,...,
  13. I will be there. Heading out on Friday!
  14. If you would pay attention, you would notice that UND is relevant right now...... As far as National Championship talk goes, we just lost by one possession to a team that was in the semi-finals last season, and could very well be playing in Frisco come January. So honestly to answer your question, we are maybe not as far away as you think.
  15. I didn't say the offense put up 30 points, I said UND scored 30 points which should have been enough points on the board against Weber's very pedestrian offense. Again, I'm not saying UNDs offense was great yesterday, I just saying that the defense was horrendous and was the biggest reason by far for the loss. We made Constantine look like an all American.......
  16. 8-3 will put us squarely on the bubble as an independent with no conference advocating for us.
  17. I'm not saying the offense was stellar by any means, but I feel they did enough against one of the best defenses in the entire country to win the game if our defense would have done their part. 30 points combined by the offense and special teams should be enough to win against one of the nation's most anemic offenses.
  18. This loss falls squarely on the defense, and it's really not up for debate. UND put up 30 points against the best defense in the Big Sky and it wasn't enough. That is the highest point total that Weber has allowed all year against an FCS team. On the other hand, Weber has the worst offense in the Big Sky by quite a bit, and they managed their second highest point output of the season against us. Their QB, who was benched a week ago for poor play, had a career game against us. I don't feel that the sky is falling. UND lost a close game to what I think is one of the 5 best teams in the country that has a legit shot to make it to Frisco. I'm frustrated that they didn't beat Weber, because the opportunity was there. But North Dakota is still an above average team, that could make the playoffs if we win the next 3. And anything can happen then.
  19. I'd like clarification if the "Sanford" we are talking about regarding funding Augie is Sanford Health, or T. Denny Sanford. Because I believe they are two very different things......... Correct me if I am wrong, but when we talk about the other three Dakota schools and their ties to Sanford, we are talking about the Health organization, not T. Denny right?
  20. Leave the band where they are in 212, they are there every week and for the duration of the game obviously, so obviously that section is always full and the band are some of the best fans. All of 210 and 211 should be reserved for students, and everything south of the band should be available to the general public.........
  21. I am to the point that I don't really care if the students are attending or not. It would be nice if they did, but it is what it is, and as others have mentioned, lack of student attendance isn't unique to UND. Fact is most young people today have the attention span of a fruit fly and would prefer to experience life through apps rather than in person. My point is that those center sections would certainly have more bodies in them if they were available to the general public, so I think they should be........
  22. Might as well move them now, because NCAA rules dictate that students can't be between the 35 yard lines behind the opposing bench during playoff games. When we start hosting more and more playoff games, they are going to have be in the corner anyways. They were always moved during playoff games in the DII era, and it caused confusion even then when it was an annual event.
  23. If it's all about travel costs, may as well go after UM-Crookston as well then...................
  24. I just posted 3 Lower Bowl seats for sale on Ticketmaster for the SATURDAY game against Minnesota St. Section 102, Row F, on the end that UND shoots at twice. $55 each
