I'd like clarification if the "Sanford" we are talking about regarding funding Augie is Sanford Health, or T. Denny Sanford. Because I believe they are two very different things......... Correct me if I am wrong, but when we talk about the other three Dakota schools and their ties to Sanford, we are talking about the Health organization, not T. Denny right?

Leave the band where they are in 212, they are there every week and for the duration of the game obviously, so obviously that section is always full and the band are some of the best fans. All of 210 and 211 should be reserved for students, and everything south of the band should be available to the general public.........

I am to the point that I don't really care if the students are attending or not. It would be nice if they did, but it is what it is, and as others have mentioned, lack of student attendance isn't unique to UND. Fact is most young people today have the attention span of a fruit fly and would prefer to experience life through apps rather than in person. My point is that those center sections would certainly have more bodies in them if they were available to the general public, so I think they should be........

Might as well move them now, because NCAA rules dictate that students can't be between the 35 yard lines behind the opposing bench during playoff games. When we start hosting more and more playoff games, they are going to have be in the corner anyways. They were always moved during playoff games in the DII era, and it caused confusion even then when it was an annual event.

If it's all about travel costs, may as well go after UM-Crookston as well then...................

As usual, and like others, I was disappointed with the student turnout, but not surprised. UND really needs to move the two student sections from the center of the field to the North side of where the band sits. Those center sections are prime real estate that paying customers would happily use. And it just looks terrible to have that huge void of empty seats in the middle of the field.

This is where having no access to an autobid is going to hurt us this season and next. I don't think UND would even be in the committee's discussion at 7-4, and 8-3 would put us squarely on the bubble IMO. I think we have to be 9-2 to make the playoffs, which would normally actually be good enough to get a seed, but in UND's case would likely have us playing in the opening round this year. Agree that Idaho St. has even more reason to be miffed by all of this than UND does. Going into this past weekend they were still unranked as the 1st place Big Sky team. They lose in OT, on the road, to UC Davis who STATS had ranked at #14 last week. Davis climbs into the Top 10 with a win over ISU, but ISU still can't crack their poll. The whole thing is a joke! For what it is worth, North Dakota is at #12 in the Hero Sports Computer Rankings.

So I am having trouble finding where I can watch the game against NDSU tonight. In the Big Sky all the games were available online. We moved to the Summit so we can play NDSU more often, but now we can't watch unless we make a donation to NDSU, is that about right?

I'm glad to see that the Nickel Trophy has been making the rounds lately. Regardless of legislative interference, I think we should keep it. And then put it up for grabs starting with the 2019 game against NDSU. It's a big piece of ND sports history. Doesn't matter what our nickname is. It is a replica of past American coinage. A piece of "Americana" if you will. It means something to the older fans of both schools like me.

Well, as sketchy as the O-Line and play calling apparently was tonight, at least the special teams were rock solid!

I agree that Adeoti needs to be on the field for a majority of snaps. That catch he made wasn't easy. Just a tad underthrown which allowed the defender to catch up, he had a chance to make a play on that ball, but Izzy held his concentration and made the catch. That play impressed me and in a high presssure situation as well. He's been thrown at so little that I didn't really really know what to think about him until now.

Seems to me Ketteringham doesn't handle it well when under pressure in the pocket...
