Can you cut the "we" sh*t? Every post you have made is negative to UND and positive to certain other schools. Gets old. Lamest thing one can do on a message board but FU fans constantly do it.

We know which school is foremost in his mind. He knows the UND Sioux nickname and applied it to the football game, which was the topic of the day.

You need to look a bit deeper into personalities.

We'll see. I stand by what I said. They were 3-8 last year and lost a ton of players. I was OK with some of the defections but there gets to be a point where you need some experience on the field. You cannot start the season with 15 new guys-some them being true freshman/Juco's, and expect good results. As it sits right now, the cupboard is bare.

The cupboard is going to be damn near empty for UND next year. People need to realize it. The difference between the two rosters is enormous.

Polasek has never been a coordinator before, never called plays. Entz has been a defensive coordinator for one year at FCS level. Hedberg - meh. We know how he is. Think about it for a minute - find it funny that Bubba didn't ask him to come to UND? I know he didn't. Their staff just took a fairly big dip, IMO. Will they be good, sure. But they are bringing in the same level of experience that UND is. Hell, Kleiman was a head coach for one year total at DIII.

So UND is better than all of them, right?

UNC just beat Southern Utah by 36. Carry on...

You realize Southern Illinois hired a D2 head coach as their head, and a D2 head coach as Def. Coordinator, right? What rhe hell is the difference? SIU had been to the playoffs and still hired those guys.

They are waiting to clear him in the HR department - background checks, etc. Matter of time.

They have Randy Hedberg. LOL. Great hire.

More competitive, like Robert Morris, Delaware State, Prairie View A&M, Ferris State, Lafayette and St. Francis. They were all solid, non-conference teams that Gene locked up to make their schedule "competitive".

My saying that 'attitude' on a message board is why they go 16-16 obviously does not directly affect their play and their record. Was more of a reflection of the results I have seen, tied to their record. They seem to be extremely complacent and basically put they do not improve. Can we point to anything showing they have gotten better in the past three seasons? Seems like one step forward -one step back.

Once again, your right. I should be happy with that effort last night and the fact they were able to beat Southern Utah with a late rally, at home. Hopefully, there are more efforts like that to come the rest of the season.

He was referring to them dismissing the UND loss once they beat Notre Dame. It had nothing to do with UND and their situation.

Huff just drove and dropped it to a wide open Webb for two. First time all game I can remember somebody actually passing it once they got in the lane.

Jones is lost as a head coach. No consistency at all. His teams play as the other team allows them. Now, having said that, they will get hot in February and win a bunch of games and finish .500 on the year again. How exciting.

What's the difference between hiring a FCS 'position' coach as your coordinator and hiring a D2 Head Coach who has also been a D2 coordinator? Got news for you, UND is not getting an FCS coordinator to come to Grand Forks. And if they did steal one away, it would be from a lower FCS school. Is that what you want?

A lot of good points. Except one fan base was ecstatic and another was lukewarm. That is what I don't understand. Kleiman has done nothing to prove that he will be a great head coach and will keep the level of play where it is at.
