Yes they are. On UND's campus and at their sporting events, anyway.
-
Nobody is going to put away their gear. It will slowly disappear over time as it is no longer sold to the new graduates who continuously make their way through UND. People can keep wearing whatever they want. But the Sioux logo will disappear over the next 20 years to the point where there 10's of 100's are wearing it instead of 1000's. The rest will be wearing the new logo.
-
Little known fact: Bohl also blocked an OL from transferring to UND last year. Believe he ended up in the MAC.
-
If they are anything like the renegades down at Texas Tech, the odds are pretty good. TT didn't give two sh*ts about our nickname or the controversy surrounding it. Neither did their student section.
-
Maybe when they stop winning NC's and UND starts making the playoffs it will get better. Just a thought.
-
Once again, it has nothing to do with "hiding" our offense and scheming behind the scenes. If the Ball wasn't at the Alerus the game would have gone down as normal, with live video, etc. I just think they gave up after seeing the limited abilities of Memorial.
-
That reason has absolutely nothing to do with it and is nonsense. They showed their entire offense all of 2014.
-
I don't think so. They need help this year because of Tyler leaving and possibly deRouen. They obviously love to have lots of guards on the roster.
-
My sources tell me Baker is very close to committing to UND. I am not 100% sure but they seemed pretty confident. Will know in a few weeks.
-
To add to that, getting transfers along the offensive and defensive lines is much harder than at LB or RB, where players are more plentiful. Every coach in America will take a good OL or DL. Can never have too many. UND needs another DL or possibly a cornerback as an FBS transfer. An effective defensive end would be outstanding.

Why doesn't everyone use the third prong if it allows you to be that far out of 'compliance' as we understand it?
-
Football loses ALOT of money at UND, much like everywhere else (like you said). Hopefully, attendance will rise and it will lose less money in the future. But, it along with hockey are the two most visible programs so they help bring exposure/marketing to the university.
-
I was going to say, NDSU is so far out of compliance with Title IX its ridiculous. Why are we worried about it?
-
He is a 2015 recruit I believe.
-
Think you got it wrong. The picture was of Dallas Kopp, the equipment manager who just retired. He was saying that Dallas would never have let this happen. But yes, it is a sad and pathetic thread.
-
Listen up, I think you have an inflated sense of how good you were or you wouldn't be on here. Good players don't talk about themselves or what they did for the program. Others do it for them. If you played lately, you are part of the reason why Bubba was hired. Keep that in mind when you are ripping other people and pumping your own tires. I want this program to get back to prominence as much as anyone but lets all keep a level head and worry about things that matter.
-
To be honest, equipment guys work pretty damn hard and are a vital part of the program. As much as a coach, player or anyone. Takes everyone to run a football program. If he wants to put one on his car after working X number of years with the program, I have no problem with that. The decal thing is cool but you are taking it way too seriously.

I see the Jacobsen twins ended up signing at Beloit College, a low D3 in Wisconsin. Yet their handler came on SS to pimp them and SFI to chastise Bubba and Maurice for not offering them. Glad they ended up somewhere. They worked hard, no doubt.
-
They have tried big promo things in the past many times. Usually it turns out to be 40 degrees with a 30 mph wind or raining. Not their fault. The team just needs to win games.
-
I think you're right. Would be a good depth linebacker guy.
-
Wanless was the best AD UND has had in my memory and it really isn't close. Budget was in-line and other sports than hockey actually won. And they won ALOT. Oh yah, hockey came out of the gutter under his watch after he hired Blais and won a national championship. . Wanless had the stones to tell the coaches NO on things and they didn't like it. Once he left, they wanted him back real quick.
-
A juicy futures bet for the Frozen Four: Hak-nasty over The Blaiser to win it all: +482. Get some.
-
Getting a couple kids from the local area can only help the program. 3-4 Northern MN/ND kids on the roster shouldn't be too outlandish.

If Baker can do as much as Tillman did for the FB program he will be one of the best recruits/transfers Jones ever had. Tillman was an absolute star for the FB team, in the locker room, at corner, returning punts, etc. Veteran leadership that they needed badly.
