Myself I'd be happier if the Av's went down in 6 since that is who the Wild are playing, but whatever flaots your boat. Dang. I'm still having trouble figuring out why the Devils signed him though. To me it just doesn't make sense. If he had been healthy all year, I could definately understand. But since David was sick for half the year, it just seems weird to me.

The article says Smaby is going to opt-in to the draft. The NHL draft totally confuses me. Why did DiPietro have to opt-in and therefore lose his college eligibility but Smaby doesn't lose his? Is it because Smaby won't be playing college hockey when he opts-in? And why don't Vanek and Parise have to opt-in?

Hatred for the Gophers is nowhere near the hatred for the Blundering Turds. I'd sooner be shot than cheer for NDSUcks. I like the Gophers in any sport besides hockey and don't mind seeing them win. NDSUcks on the other hand I love to see lose in everything and anything possible. I get to see that happen alot too. It's pretty nice.

Standing outside is great, I have no idea why either. It can be absolutely miserable at times. So freaking cold for those Gopher games. The 3 coldest days of the year are inevitably the 2 Gopher games and the day my dad decides to put up the Christmas lights. Holy Moses, I don't think I've ever been as cold as the day we burned that couch. At least the Gophers got smoked out of their locker room though.

I could just see Hale being a finalist. People whined enough when Zach made it. If David did, holy moses! 25 games with 2 goals and 6 assists, hasn't played since mid Januray. People would go off the deep end. Heehee.

If Zach won the Hobey this year, I would be very unhappy because that would mean that a more deserving person such as Sejna or Leveneau did not win it. It shouldn't be a popularity contest and Parise does not deserve it. Nice to see Ferris fans stuffing the ballot though.

I don't think Vanek won by a vote. It doesn't show how many votes each guy got. The votes they show are for the Rookie team and Reichmuth got the most votes. So if that was the case he would've won the award.
