Red River with Ziggy, Potulny and Irmen was pretty good as was the Red River team from 98(?) I think. Maybe it was just because I hadn't really been paying attention this year and didn't think Central was really as great as their record. They are much better then I thought they were though. Knocking the snot out of DL wasn't that suprising, but smacking around Grafton is. This team doesn't give up goals. Moreland's stats are amazing and that is an understatement.

How good is Central? Holy Moses! 6-0 after the 2nd. I don't remember a team so dominating. There probably was way back when with Gambucci's teams.

Anyone hear how much they are gonna cost. I was watching the HS tournament and I heard $150 down, but nothing else. I don't know if I can afford to go anymore.

I don't know about that. Chris looked like an adolescent Wookie. He was begining to develop the hair and had the a bit of facial hair going on.

He's listed at 5'9" and 150. So he'd fit right in.

Karl probably doesn't have much of a chance of regularaly backing up for the Blue Jackets as they have Pascal Leclaire, the high draft pick. Even though Karl has out played him pretty much the whole year, he and Leclair have been splitting time in Syracuse. When Labbe got hurt early this year, Leclair was the one who got called up, not Goehring. I'd like to see Karl play too, but when the Ble Jackets have all this money tied up in a young goalie, he is probably going to get many more chances then a goalie who the Blue Jackets just signed as a free agent. Karl isn't neccessarily considered a goalie for the future for Columbus while Leclair is.

And if it wasn't for Jordan Leopold last year, UND would have swept. If it wasn't for Krys Kolanos UND would have back to back national championships, I bet. If it wasn't for Grant Potulny last year, Maine would be the champs. If it wasn't for this, then that would have happened. But those are the breaks.

Shattuck is playing the North Dakota 85 team later this year, so I guess we'll see how a North Dakota All Star team will do against SSM.

Ed Schultz has never been liked by most Sioux fans even if he is the football guy. I remember a couple years ago when he did turkey bowling at a hockey game. When they announced him, the entire arena booed him. One the the funniest things ever.

Is a kid like Crosby really going to consider college? HNIC and Don Cherry were talking about him when he was 12 years old and talking about how great he was. I always assumed that he would be drafted and probably go straight into the NHL or at the very least the AHL. Or would his age allow him to play a year of college before he'd be drafted?

Sejna is not eligible for the tournament as it is for under 20 year olds and he is 23. I only wish he was eligible for the tournament as it would help UND out alot this weekend.
