  1. I had my tp too. I ws very sad when Jeff didn't come to visit us.
  2. It is true, it is ridiculous. Someone is going to be killed and I'm not kidding. I never left, as I was in the front, but people who were right next to me outside, were no where to be seen inside. REA seemingly does not care, they do not listen to anything we try to tell them. They think we are just dumb students or something. I sure as hell do not want to be injured in a stampede at a stupid hockey game. My friend was nearly knocked to the ground. Is there any doubt he would have been trampled if he had fallen? It is moronic and someone needs to figure something out or there are going to be huge problems. Sure it probably won't happen again as this is the last big series of the year that students will be at, but for God's sake, do something about it.
  3. I loved how they put the camera on him and as soon as he saw it, he hightailed it out of there, back into the suite.
  4. Well if you are gonna be a party pooper, then tp will definitely be needed. Maybe if we gently handed it to him and gave a thorough explanation to the security guards it'd be ok.
  5. Well I'm certainly going to try.
  6. We were debating whether we could get tp in this weekend to give to Finger. How in the world could we get a megaphone in? And assuming we get it in, how long are we gonna get to keep it before the sectuiry guards decide it is a risk to world safety and it is taken from us?
  7. The sieve chant has always sucked because no one besides the students does it. Top that off with the students having absolutely no coordination whatsoever and disaster results. Most people do it way too fast. I myself call this Premature Sievealation. I doubt we would get much participation if we dropped s___ for the "who's he" cheer. We don't get any participation in other cheers, why would this one be any different?
  8. I figured it'd be an indifferent group of PCM acquaintances. And rather then beating you up, they'd just wave.
  9. Don't the Gophers have to score in order for you to do that cheer? Then how did your kids learn it at the UND games?
  10. I'll have to think about it. I'm not quite sure.
  11. Maybe I am missing something but when I went to go pick up my season tickets, the schedule already said Wisconsin was sold out. What am I missing?
  12. Karl nearly got another shutout tonight, giving up a PP goal with three minutes left in the 3rd. Sounds like the ref made a bad call on the penalty too. So Anderson takes away a goal from Zach and another ref calls a penalty that costs Goehring his 3rd straight shutout!! Stupid refs!!! Karl did get the Crunch record for most consecutive shutout minutes with 197:58, though.
  13. Karl got his second straight shut out tonight. Binghamton, NY (November 15, 2002)
  14. Keys to UND becoming a good team that has a chance to finish in the top three of the WCHA 1. Get good goaltending 2. Have a goaltender step up and play well 3. Find a goaltender That is all. If they can just get good consistant, goaltending they'll be tough to beat. With bad goaltending though they are in big trouble.
  15. Last year the student section was pretty much told to sit down and shut up after the CC series. That wasn't very condusive to being loud and getting on the opponent and most importantly having fun. Last year wasn't alot of fun. Not being able to yell at the players during warm ups, due to constant loud music doesn't help. Neither does the higher glass. It was great at the old arena as you could stand on the bench and yell over the glass. You just had to be careful not to get smacked in the face with the pucks being flinged at you. Having students who are just there to be seen doesn't help either. When you try doing something and half the section is too busy talking on their cellphones, it probably isn't going to work. There are still the occasional loud times (like the two SH goals by Notes and Spie) and I think there might actually be many more this year as there don't seem to be many non-students who are complaining about what the students are doing. Last year it felt like if we did anything, we'd get in trouble for ruining the game for others. This year it doesn't feel like it is going to be that way. The newness of the arena isn't there anymore and people don't seem so grumpy about things. Top that off with this years team looking much better so far and it will probably be louder. It was kinda tough to cheer and be excited at times last year.
  16. Katie O'Keefe is terrible. She is just annoying and I can not stand her. She is just eye candy and is very bad at that. They need someone who has the slightest clue of what is going on around them. I don't come to games to listen to her babble and I like U2 can't understand anything she says anyways. Maybe its better that way, though. PS. They need to go back to last years laser light show. This years is terrible. Wow look they can make a freaking dot on the ice. Hey, I could go to Spencers and buy a $10 light machine that could do that too! Impress me please or don't do it at all. Bring back The Skater!!!!
  17. Blais thought the fans were booing the team? He was mistaken. I can guarantee you that we, the students, were booing Gravelesse. I certainly don't think anyone was booing the team, especially after only one period. We didn't boo the team last year after the Mankato series, I don't think we'll ever boo them. I was booing Gravelesse the whole game though, among other things which I shall not repeat. What a schmuck.

The only sweet thing about that possible goal, was that the Manitoba goalie might have been credited with it. Now while that would've been a crappy goal to give up, how cool would it have been for a goalie to get a goal, even if it was a super cheap one.

I just want to say that after Zach scored his first goal in Engelstad he knew where to come celebrate. Right in front of me. I couldn't hear what Brian said during the interview as I was right on the glass. Could someone at least give a couple more hints? It sounds like I missed some good stuff.
  20. So you think Zach would stay around if UND could get Crosby? Obviously Parise would have used his eligibilty up by then though. And the other obviously is that Crosby almost certainly won't be playing college hockey. It would be nice though.
  21. It's a good thing UMD canceled that game. Afterall, they wouldn't want to hurt their strength of schedule by playing a cupcake.
  22. Why wasn't Parise Rookie of the Week? Is it a policy not to give two awards to the same player or something? Because obviously he was the rookie of the week in the WCHA.
  23. Scheels just has the Nike mesh replica. The bookstore didn't have a good replica jersey last year, so I don't think they will this year. Play it Again Sports has the closest to authentic jersey I've seen this year. It is Nike and is the glossy material. However the different colors of the jersey aren't seperate pieces of mateial, like the authentic jerseys are. Instead the jersey is all one piece of material. Hope you understand what I'm talking about.
  24. The Green team was: Parise-Bochenksi-Fylling Spiewak-Notermann-Lundbohm Schneider-Hale Greene-Jones I can't remember the white team lines. Sofie gave up the 1 White team goal. Seimbida gave up 2 goals and Ranfrantz gave up 3 goals.
  25. Just a tip for you JBB, the name of your quarterback is Graig Gorder, not Craig. Write it with me now. Pick up your green and yellow crayons and try it, I know you can do it. G-R-A-I-G. Very good, JBB. I'm so proud of you I'm going to give you a scratch and sniff sticker! And you can go to reccess early today!
