I was just thinking that the Vikings should pick up Paterka. It certainly couldn't hurt any and it would be great to see. I'm pretty sure he could do better than Brien. Cameron is also from the Twin Cities, that would be neat. Did Cameron really have a bad agent? It seemed wierd to me that he didn't even seem to get a chance in the NFL. He was about the #3 kicker in the country last year in all divisions. He can kick 60 yard field goals for God's Sake. You would've thought he'd at least gotten a chance. He isn't even in the CFL. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? UND got absolutely destoyed. It wasn't even close. They couldn't run and they couldn't pass. They couldn't stop the run and they couldn't stop the pass. Terrible. I'd compare it to the Sioux hockey series against Mankato last year. Nothing went right. Dustin Thornberg played terrible as did everyone else. Kelby couldn't throw when he had time and he seldom had time. The only thing that went well was Kelby's scrambling ability. Hopefully they can make a good comeback against Mesa St. next week.

I just saw that Gardner won't be re-signing with the Blue Jackets. So that leaves Karl with a pretty good chance of being the starting goalie for Syracuse this year. I guess he'll probably be fighting Pascal Leclaire for the top spot. Karl has added a whooping 10 lbs. to bring him up to a colossal 160. Olaf Kolzig better watch out, Karl is fast appoarching being the largest goalie in pro hockey.

As I said on USCHO, I think Jean Francis Labbe is almost a guarantee to be Denis' backup in Columbus.

In the first round, Karl gave up 2 goals in 3 games. I listened to the games and Karl played very well. It doesn't hurt that Dayton is the top defensive team in the ECHL, though. I hope Karl can get up and stay up with the Syracuse Crunch next year. He was up there for a while, but has spent most of his time in Dayton this season.

Having a bar on campus would rule. They are remodeling the Memorial Union and one of the ideas is to make the old book store into a non-alcoholic pub. Now I may be off here but doesn't a pub by definition have alcohol? Without alcohol it isn't a pub, it is a freaking juice bar anbd juice bars suck.
