Any estimate as to how many Hawks fans are there?

Wish we had some of those LB's from last year.

John Chenal just decommitted.

Gonna be a bit evasive here. Either UND by 10 or USD by 1

Btw, I loved the 4:00 start time. I wonder if the students show for morning tailgating when kickoff is at 1:00 and they are still recovering from Friday night. I wouldn't have 25 (or so) years ago.

Me. Just stood there taking it in and wishing I was 30 years younger.

I also had negative comments about Stusrud last game (and last year) but yesterday was very good. I believe it was the last passing TD in which he had a receiver coming across the field, saw he was covered and went to the second receiver in the EZ for a TD. He looked off his primary guy a couple of times I noticed. Btw, was anyone else surprised to find that Oliveira had 165 yards? I knew he was going well, but didn't think it was that many. Sorry to hear about your game day injury Ira. Did it happen tailgating? I loved the students section and stood there watching and dreaming I was young again along with my 50+ year old friends.

With all the injuries does this mean more RS pulled or the next man up not a true frosh?

We went to the south east entrance. Lines were long but for the most eastern door. It was moving so fast, I asked if it was for some type of special ticket but realized there are no special tickets and walked right in. The lines for the Rhombus beer/roast beef concession was long as always (didn't have Rhombus last year) and I wish they could split the beef from the beer and have 2 separate ones.

I saw Donnell was down and it looked serious as he was helped off. I didn't see Demon's injury. What happened?

For what reasons can anyone get kicked out? What's prohibited?

Nicely done!

Including the playoff game last year and with last week's game, this team has lost 2 in a row. I think that makes them hungry for the W. 30-17

The more students the better. The recruiting pics of a stadium filled with 50 something dudes (like me) don't draw the players like cheering co-eds.

My concern is come playoff time and EVERY team KNOWS we are a running team and they put 8-9 in a box and FORCE Studs to be the guy. That's the issue. Last night, I and about 15 others at a local bar in town, saw 9 in the box; Studs looks like he may audible as he turns to his RB's. Then takes the snap and HANDS off to one of them. Maybe he doesn't have audible rights, but teams are going to work hard to make him beat them. I'm not positive he can...and I don't like seeing the WR/TE's continue to drop passes. We win the playoff game if they make catches but he needs to make the passes too.
-
Yes, Studs was nailed on the play. My continuing point-he locked in to his right and with the pressure tossed it to that side and it could have been picked off.
-
IIRC, the KEY play in that comeback was by Deion Harris. I do not believe Studs can win a game with his arm. I've alluded to it before, but he picks his receiver out of the huddle, focuses on him from then on and passes to that guy. NEVER checks off.
-
I heard 450,000 I think Tom Miller had it in a column.
-
Palmborg got nicked in the 4th but came back. I think they went through concussion protocol with Flowers in the first.
-
And due to Studs continuing inability to pass to anyone other than the first guy he focuses on when he leaves the huddle, I'm not too concerned about him getting injured. He just doesn't see ANYONE ELSE, EVER.
-
I agree. I hated the old FCS system as your team and BYU during those years, had no chance at anything big. I love the playoff but wish it were 8 teams. Urban Meyer was the coach right?
-
I read this as "scrambles well like flute music" and thought "how poetic."
-
Hoping for a great Hawks experience and dear God, no injuries. If they can keep it close somehow early, that breeds some confidence. Utes 28- UND 12

Come back a week from tomorrow. Game day/nights get a LOT of posts.

Good listen-Kelly Howe needs a better mic. Both said Keaton needs to get a better start this season. They said that this board talks a lot about Helgren. Did I miss something? He's been mentioned, but not a lot.
