A month ago I spoke with people in the know and they said it would be around playoff time.

I'm a UND fan and will always be one and while I think Jerry is doing a great job, I cannot bring myself to even suggest Heisman. I know Schmidt praised him and said he wouldn't trade him for any QB in the country but have any of you seen the monster truck at SU? He runs fast, he's built like a brick s#it house and he fires rockets to his receivers. I hate being impressed by Bison, but that guy is looking good.

I watched the replay of Saturday's game. The broadcast showed that the D is 49th in the country in the RED ZONE. It hasn't mattered much so far, but moving forward it could be an issue.

The social event is true. I was with friends last winter. They have a suite. We watched the first period (Denver game) in the suite then bounced around to various other suites and I bet we didn't watch the game for more than a period and a half.

Fair point. I feel that the hockey team historically has been THE team at UND and I’m hoping both teams have the same passionate fans. Appreciate was not the right word.

With the hockey team struggling, a big W here could make the fan base appreciate UND football.

A couple of posters have used the word (competent) to describe the coaches. That word is not even close to what is here now. These are great coaches, many with NFL experience and are led by a great leader who is intent on winning every moment of every day.

So true. Coaches must be thinking that they COULD keep a kid for 4 years but the odds are not with them no matter how good the player is.. Why redshirt?

Haven’t read any post today. My thoughts: the Online is not creating many holes. The final TD came when the D knew the run was coming and OL could not create a small hole but Z forced his way into the end zone The D was mostly good, but that team had 1 real deep threat and he somehow got past evert UND defender more than once. Im hopeful these things get fixed
