WR and QB need lots of work. Missed catches combined with poor passes is really the reason why everyone is mad about yesterday. If a couple of the drives in the 4th Q could have been continued, momentum shifts and it's off to EWU. Instead Studs missed guys or guys missed catches. It's not play calling- it's execution. Sorry that doesn't allow for a coach as scapegoat.

I see Cloyd come in to a game and see a physical specimen who was rarely used. Why lift the RS if you're not using him?
-
Can we get names on the pic?
-
Frankly, it's good news that we aren't hearing about recruits as we are talking about playing a game this weekend. Haven't done that at this time of year in a lonnnnngggg time.
-
In other coaching news, Helfrich is gone from Oregon. EWU coach up for that one?
-
Dontcha know that saying that means you have no confidence in our team????
-
Completely agree. I love hoping UND is a championship contender, but I'm not so delusional as to think this will be a tough game. I'm guessing Bubba feels the same way and is expressing that to the team all week.

NC A&T/Richmond 4 right to lay an egg in the Hawks' Nest!

I like confidence, but this is not an easy opponent in my mind. Athletic line and pass the ball around nicely. Gonna be a tough one. -
I'm in 215 and we bought our tix.

Richmond has a nice RB and I thought the D toughed it out last week as I watched the 4th Q of that game. -
I saw a big guy in a walking boot at women's BB last Wednesday, thought it was Tank. Are we talking about the same guy????
-
Chatanooga is looking like a nice team though. NOT intimidated.

Was anyone at the "Fire and Ice" game at Memorial Stadium? A TV channel did a show about it, focusing on the coaches, Roger Thomas (Ice) and Rocky Hager (Fire). UND won. I was in long johns, snowcat suit and filled with lots of Schnapps.
-
You mean own it? UND has a winning record at the Dome.

The 93 game is so significant. I was at UND during the 80's and SU killed us and their fans were even bigger Dbags than they are now. Over a decade of dominance against UND and in one play, the Mooney fumble recovery (steal), and the whole series shifted and UND football started it's ascent to a National Title. Nothing better than that one. After the Fargodome was built and we had the Kleinsasser game, I bought a T-shirt that said, "The Fargodome. SU built it, UND owns it."

I was at last night women's BB game. Lots of players joined Bubba and Freund. I saw whom I believe to be Tank walking with a boot on his foot. Looked like he was moving Ok, but it was a boot. Another player, smaller guy, was on crutches. Another had his left arm in a sling that I thought might be Santiago but could not be sure. Anyone else see them?
-
At the time, I thought it was a turning point type play. Didn't they take it down on that drive to go up 31-10?
-
Isn't that true for 90% of FCS QB's?
-
I'm guessing Baldwin is gone soon. Oregon has gone bad in the post Chip Kelly era, playing well with his recruits the year he left and down after that. Not sure if that's spot for him but it's interesting.

I gotta look at the replay. I didn't think he was trying to flip it but got juggled and just lost it. Btw, where can I see a replay of the game?
-
Or the NAU fumble in the 3rd quarter that was called an incomplete forward pass. I did not see anything but a fumble on that one.
-
I'm curious if they CAN show the replay being reviewed as I don't think they ever have.

I appreciate your passion for this topic, but I don't know that there's much we on this message board can do assuming most of us have tix and attend games. I would love to see more there, but having reflected on yesterday's comeback, I was thrilled with the noise in the Alerus yesterday in the 4th quarter. Maybe the fans we have are passionate enough to make up for a couple of thousand who weren't there.
