    2016 Season

The actual statement of probable cause (the reason he was arrested) should be filed with the court tomorrow. It will show the officers' version of what happened, though most of the time, a newspaper tries to quote that. Yes, let Bubba decide-fans in a forum don't get to.
  2. Any O-Line injury updates? Or other position updates? Rich, Stanley?

    2016 Attendance

I was noting that those posts talked of noise and then another post says we need to engage the students with basically noise. I'm in 215, I'm old and cranky and yet, I have not had any noise issues.

    Playoffs? Talking about playoffs?

    2016 Attendance

So we just had a series of "the Alerus PA is too loud" posts and now we have the critique that the Alerus does not do a good enough job engaging the crowd via music, participation. Is this a generational issue?

    2016 Attendance

I was a loyal fan for the late 90's early 2000's when UND was a DII contender. Did the tailgating and every home game, though never had season tix. This year, I, and 3 others, bought season tix which are incredibly cheap. It's happening, UND football is growing, but for the college kid who only knows UND as a successful hockey school, it's going to take a bit more time. Making the playoffs and hopefully a W or two will do wonders for the program.
  7. Well...IF the opposition has to put their best guy on Clive AND possibly even double team him, that leaves a lesser guy on Toivonen or Wanzek whom they may be able to out maneuver. And IF they are concerned at all about Clive, then they can not stack the box like they've done which should open up the running game. I'd like to see more Gordon in the back field, with Santiago wide out.
  8. Heidlebaugh. I'm not so sure it makes much difference as the last 2 games we haven't really had good QB play anyway, and we still win.
  9. First, Big Game, I had the EXACT same thoughts about just kicking it OB. As for play calling, I was able to say aloud what the play would be to the extent I won lunch on a bet with a friend. BUT, I agree that the play calling is in line with the personnel. We talk about diminished WR's but what about the OLine?. Seems every third play Stockwell is dinged but to his credit guts it out, but I wonder about his leg(s). What are we on re: backups on the line? If the opposition is going with 9 in the box, it's tough to get the running game going especially with a banged up OLine. Last thing-although he did not make the catch he should have made in the 4th, Cloyd looks like a monster. Can't wait till he develops more FB IQ.
  10. I don't have a problem with the sound system. I sit in 215 which is on the visitor's side. I don't find it that bad at all. And I'm old.
  11. I agree....you could see the D Back and the receiver dive for it, only to watch it go to Wanzek for the TD. It was Wanzek who caught it, right. 2 ND guys on that play
  12. Agree with most of this, but IF I agree Keaton was completely off, I don't get so concerned about Bartles coming in. But I do agree there MUST be a high end QB next year in the mix.
  13. I understood it that some of our guys were imitating the play call, with "Hut" or some other words.
  14. Not sure I agree with your D not much depth comment. We rotate a fresh new line every series with little drop off and have at least 5 really good LB's. Yes, the DB's are not deep and Hunt is getting a baptism by fire, but as long as Reyes is out there we are really good and pretty deep.
  15. I WANTED Weber to pass today. Our rush was fierce. We have Reyes back there to make up for a LOT of CB errors. Last week, ISU scored 2 TD's that are NOT TD's if he is there.
  16. Some complained we ran too much into 9 and 10 man boxes and that's what they had on the goal line. Studs got hurt on a QB draw about 5 plays prior to the play near the goal line. He couldn't even lift his arm immediately after. Nonetheless, if it must be Bartles Ok. Studs was off today and Bartles threw a couple of nice balls today. Loved Heidelbaugh's option pass-allowed Wanzek to catch it on either end.
  17. Looking forward to seeing it. Do we know if any future Hawks are coming to the game tomorrow?
  18. The HUDL page said Jr, but that must have been outdated. Thanks.
  19. Your son is a junior so I'm certain he's someone the Hawks will keep an eye on. Glad he is excited about playing here.
  20. We're talking about getting students to buy in, but W's will do it in time. As great as the Ralph is, how many students show up to a hockey game if the team is .500 for a few years as they move up a division (if that were possible)? It's not about gimmicks or tricks; they'll respond to a winner because they want to be a part of something special. Oh ... and free beer!
  21. Newcastle Brown for me.
  22. Injury update? Cieslak left early. At least Reyes dressed which must be a good sign. What's Rooney's status? I noticed Stockwell puked, but was down for a bit too. Anything?
  23. What were the golden ales? I hope they were good? You try Rhombus Iconic Blonde? Love it.
  24. Is there any school in the Big Sky at which he wouldn't be a starter???
