  1. One thing in the videos is the O Line has created a huge wedge for him in almost all his highlights. Naturally it wouldn't be a highlight if he was tackled 2 yards behind the LOS, but that line does nice work for him to fly through the hole and get downfield.
  2. Newest recruit http://www.hudl.com/video/3/2589939/5721cafb9a90ec554091e112
  3. Not to change the topic, but are there any changes on the 2-deep?
  4. NOOOOOO! I want to see this guy run people over. In the videos its a man v boys.
  5. So every D coordinator UND plays has a goal of stopping an All American RB and now another has established himself as a great threat. Same D coordinator knows he doesn't need to worry about any passes more than 30 yards downfield due to lack of speed in the WR's and a QB who just hasn't shown he can make any real tough passes. Plus the OL is leaky right now. I don't care if Lane Kiffin is the OC or Bill Walsh is: How much more can you do with that personnel? For the record, when UND gets a golden armed QB and some speed on the outside, I will join the chorus of getting rid of him IF he continues the same plays.
  6. Watching the replay made me realize how stud Reyes was on the 2 point play. He slammed the RB AT THE GOAL LINE!
  7. I think Rudolph has become the easy punching bag around here. Some don't want to look negatively at Studsrud or the O-line so they go after the coach. But if your QB can't get the ball downfield and really doesn't have the weapons to do it, and you have a stud RB but no O-line cohesiveness, the play calling has to fit the personnel. We can't just "open up the playbook" as there simply aren't a ton of plays that fits the players he has.
  8. The runs were done with 8 guys in the box too. Nowhere to go! Studs can't audible out of that?
  9. Agree about Studs. I wish someone was pushing him for PT, but that's not the case. I agree the receivers aren't flying around out there, but it doesn't matter as he simply chooses which one he's passing to as soon as he gets the ball from center, locks on that guy and throws it. Sometimes it works and it worked enough times to get a W.
  10. I agree. STUPID! I know its a freshman, but you can't do that. It was a turning point. He made a nice play, and would have been 3rd and long; instead it's 15 yards and they kept marching.
  11. I agree. Watching him on the sidelines in OT, it looked like he was in a good mood, not showing any disappointment of an injury, but knowing his toughness, there had a to be a good reason he wasn't in the game.
  12. MoSioux, I NOTICED Reyes' absence too. Saw him on the sideline still in his gear, but helmet off. Anyone know what was wrong?
  13. There's flaws for sure. I've never been sold on Studsrud as a championship caliber QB, though his legs are much better than his arm. He still sits on his target from start of play to pass. I'm more concerned about team D. SD ran when they wanted and passed when they wanted all the game. We stiffened when we needed to and most importantly THIS WAS THE BEST WIN I'VE SEEN IN YEARS. I was there and it was loud for most of the game and it was a great W.
  14. I will be there with 3 others. Can't wait for Saturday.
  15. Come to this site for all your UND football news. Next week is Potato Bowl. Regardless of today's outcome, I hope the Alerus is packed with fans.
  16. What about Randolph. Looked smooth in his HUDL vid.
  17. First, I don't think many (any?) have thrown in the towel yet. I, like many others who watched last week's game, was disappointed. I expressed. Now it's time to move on. I also have season tix, but I'm puzzled who the "we" is in your sentence. If the team can't get people excited, I don't think that we can do much outside of them. I did get 3 others to buy season tix with me, so I guess I did get some others excited for the season.
  18. Especially tall burners. Seems like every team likes them.
  19. Sioux 94, the night of sleep came, and the outlook is better this morning. They will be better. We all knew this BG game would be a tough one against a Bowl team last year and now they must step up. That's it.
  20. It's a fan site filled with fans who watched a really poor QB outing; a really solid D outing, but in the end a LOSS. But, I'm heading to the other post now-On to BG!
  21. Yup, I talked three friends into joining me in buying season tix. They were expecting more than this and next week could be great, but this is not the start that keeps the momentum going.
  22. Ya my bad on saying SDSU.
  23. I want to be positive and there is a TON of great things on the D side of the ball. Lots of depth; I couldn't keep track of all the guys who had nice plays besides Reyes. Labat was very good, Donnell Rodgers has that speed on the edge and Greely was in lots of sack situations. But realistically, they could be 0-2 after next week and SDSU is gonna be tough in Potato Bowl. That's a hard way to start a season.
  24. Wasn't impressed with them. A decent QB would have ripped them apart. Defensively they stopped the run because there was NO passing attack to defend. Offensively, they had a couple of drives, but they didn't impress me. We LOST this game, they didn't win it. If that makes sense.
  25. ANY info on Reyes?
