Here is the true travesty. You've got a senior who is playing the last hockey games of his UND career at home. If its borderline call then you can't fault the officials, but that wasn't close. Marco and big D owe Mac an apology. Not UND, but Mac.

I'm not a basketball fan, but this is where I feel for the basketball program. Biggest game in the history of UND men's basketball and 90 percent of people are concerned with hockey. Lets go fellas! Getter done.

Way to copy my prediction.......gol.... Keys to Friday night: ~How the Freshman goaltenders play. ~How Tech handles UND's first punch in the first period. ~Whether or not UND gets some consistency from their forward lines. ~Tech's specialty teams.

I kind of undershot the scoring. Yeah, they're goaltending is supposedly better, but you've got a freshman goalie on the road in the first round of the playoffs, where the nerves pick up a bit. Obviously, UND has a Freshman getting the nod as well, so both teams are going with a bit of inexperience playoff wise. I think UND needs seven goals to sweep the series. Unless the ultimate lockdown tech comes which leads us to 2-1 type hockey games.

I'm taking UND in two. 4-1......and 2-1.

Some good points. I hope I've never taken anyone to the woodshed for accurate analysis like this, and I apologize if I have. I guess I didn't see it as being overly negative. Didn't question the effort. Didn't throw anybody under the bus. Just gave an honest interpretation of UND's chances. I guess I haven't run into any Sioux fans yet who have 100% faith in a final five run. Hell, halfway through the second period of last years second game at the F5, I was figuring where they'd go out east. I'm the biggest sioux fan in the history of the world (according to me), and I didn't have them winning that last year. Just hoped they'd get by SCSU.

For the most part I think Brad is a realist. He is very knowledgeable about the game (and this team), and I think is one of the hardest working college hockey beat writers in the nation. I'm glad we have him, and I'm glad he's very interactive with the fanbase. I don't know if saying those things is being overly critical. In my mind being overly critical would be like saying "They choked" or something along those lines. Heck, I agree with him. Those are accurate predictions. I'm not putting a ton of eggs into UND winning the final five this year. A four pete? No way....Can it be possible? And as inconsistent as this hockey team has been? They could either lose their next three games, or not lose again....who knows?

But Marco was such a good fighter......

No love for Rocco....sigh. Bury your chances Rocco....bury em!!!! Of all the Freshman listed I don't know if I trade Rocco for any of them? No green goggles, homer crap, etc. Who do you trade Rocco for of all the great Freshman in the league? Maybe Stephon, but thats because I'm a biased former goaltender.

Would love to play, but unfortunately am dealing with some sciatic nerve issues, so skating is out of the question. I would love to play though, always wanted to get into the action at one of these skates.

I'm of the belief that he selects his ballot just to get a rise out of UND fans. Guess he is good at that.

Never going to be another set of Lamoureax twins. Hopefully the foundation of the program has been set to where top end recruits end up here consistently. Someone else will have to score next year though.......uhh oh...

I had the final standings incorrect.....so I confused the hell out of myself and a couple of others. But yes, I was talking about after the final five Thursday round games. There is no reseeding at the final five.
