I just require five more wins this season. Thats it. They can win tonight and take a huge crap right in the middle of the ice in St. Paul......Just find a way to win this game....then four more.

Pretty much what I was thinking. It didn't do his defensemen any favors because they had to make a quick transition with no backchecking help because of the play. There are times to be fancy, and with three minutes left in the third period in a tied hockey game is not the time to get cute. Simpson was probably screwed either way. Not going to put him or his knee injury at fault. Although if he's hurt and it will affect his play he's got to sit.

Rocco Grimaldi will score a goal tonight.

Rowney broke the cardinal ten foot rule. You don't turn over the puck anywhere within ten feet of either blue line. He tried to make a pretty play instead of getting the puck low and it creates a rush the other way. Seniors need to be the difference tonight. Last game in the building should be memorable for the right reasons.

Rocco needs the puck to go off a defensemen's butt and in the net. Or he needs to dump the puck in on the goalie, have it take a stupid hop and bounce in the net. Goals are like grapes, they come in bunches. Hopefully we see the grapes this season.

I think Clark should be back in there. The goaltending wasn't the issue last night. This is my lineup for tonight, take it for what its worth: Kristo-Knight-Rocco Mark-Rowney-Parks Mitch-Gaarder-St. Clair Rodwell-Pattyn-Jim or Chyzyk I have no clue with what to do with the d pairings, but you have to find a way to get Panzarella into the lineup for his physicality.

Will do our best to be there. The door prizes and such should make for a jolly time.

Good points. What type of defenseman is a Bubba defenseman? Do we need trees or do we need quick puck management guys?

Gosh, and to think I felt bad for Tech....... Play last night didn't warrant a win.

I thought after sweeping Omaha this group maybe had what it takes. But after that weekend we've seen some sloppy hockey. Being totally honest, there wasn't a point other than that where I got overly excited about their play. PS: Very classy post, nice to have civil conversations with opposing fans.

I for sure thought it was a goal. But after watching Brad's video and this video it isn't a goal. From the overhead the puck goes over top of the crossbar, not under neath. From the live feed the puck bounces up. I know it doesn't matter, but interesting bounce of the puck.

No sleep for me tonight, but everyone please travel safely if you are going to the game tomorrow evening, weather looking to be extremely fragile. Hopefully we see a determined group of young men tomorrow evening. I guess hope they feel as sick as some of us feel, and none of us put skates on this evening. Regroup and go get em tomorrow guys.

Agreed. Tech has been the better team both nights. Would like to see a different team out there tomorrow. Definitely a disheartening past week of hockey for this team.

Extremely upsetting to see the lack of urgency from UND. Almost thankful that there is a third game because it seems like Tech won the first two. Tomorrow night is a toss up. Get outplayed once shame on me......get outplayed twice.....uhh ohh....

Radio guys calling out Corban and Danny for off nights. Can't disagree. You need your seniors in these closeout games to be big, and they weren't.

Thoughts: ~Can't care for the last ten minutes of the game. That second period just sucked the life out of the building. ~Rocco is worse than snake bitten....I'm not sure what you call it...... ~Although he's snake bitten, Rocco has to be on the top unit. O'Donnell was just invisible. ~Made an average goalie look good. Those saves he's making if UND goes upstairs they score. Give him credit for making the saves though.

Game over. Sets up a game three on Sunday evening. Tech got screwed out of a goal, so at least the hockey gods were favorable after that.

I'd feel better if UND won in regulation.....if this game goes to OT then we have an asterisk....

Something needs to change this third period. Rocco may have to go top unit and then change things up below. Ugly game, playing into Tech's hands.
