Defensively there are potentially 8 guys coming back. Of the 8 the guys, the fence guys IMHO would be Liv, Wiebe, EJ, and Verhoeff. Cant imagine they'd all go, but can't see them all staying. A very good problem to have if the entire core is back, but then Engel probably gone to make room for Lindberg.

So Mr. O'Neill is currently 19 years old. Another one of those examples of the NTDP kids not wanting that extra year in juniors because there is the mindset that "I've played against college and USHL teams for a whole year at U18, I'm ready for college hockey". Right or wrong, a lot of these guys see it as a mark against their NTDP time having to play that extra year in junior hockey.

I mean regardless, Kwesi's drafting cost this team mightily, and you are going to need solid draft classes for the next few years to try and right the ship, all the while not wasting Jefferson's prime years by bringing in band aid free agent fixes. If Kyler wins the job and has one helluva season then they've got QB decision 2.0. Kyler will be 29 when the season starts, and has missed a ton of games with injury, so he'd have to light the world on fire to get a deal. At the same time another desperate team could throw money at Kyler once free agency hits, and desperate teams for QB play make desperate offers at times (Kirk Cousins and the Falcons line one).

2025-26 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
Wilbur replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
St. Thomas.....NPI at 16. Minnesota.....NPI at 39 Clarkson....NPI at 38 Mercyhurst.....NPI at 63 Not great. Reminded me of the 2002-2003 group (Parise freshman year) when you had the likes of Canisius 3 times, Niagara, Princeton, Yale, Brown, Bemidji State. The term cupcake was used a lot that year. -
Well team USA should be safe now. Next time let's take the Royals first baseman and leave Harper and Goldschmidt at home.

Twenty three year drout for Minnesota golden gophers hockey club. Makes the back to back more manageable. Current students weren't alive for the last one.

Tonight we are all Catamounts.....

No way he knew the rules. You've got to treat that game way differently than he did. Better hope Mexico either kills the ball today or doesn't touch it.

8-5 now. Run allowed differential a bit better now....

Team USA on the ropes. 8-1 in the bottom of the 6th.

Honestly, I don't think Doc Emrick himself would have a prayer with Geno, half the time you can tell he's had a couple drinks before broadcasts. Jim Rich turned super homer when he was doing games in Stearns County. And his crescendos during moments that lead up to a goal or quality scoring chance is darn near unbearable, like he's yelling into the mic.

Ticket bastard....lol.... +1

I think it was UTEP who made football tickets so outrageously priced when they played Texas that it was actually cheaper for Texas fans to buy their season tickets when they played.

1. No idea. 2. No idea. 3. Must be like it reads 4. No idea 5. Must be like it reads. 6. No idea 7. Saw it. 8. Saw it last week. 9. Rink being demolished. 10. Golf for the Sun Devils.

What's that one?

Saw this on Twitter. Guess I've got some research to do.

Jim Erickson is one of my favorites in hockey play by play. He called a ton of games at the Minnesota tournament and didn't miss a beat. I'd like them to bring in Ben Holden sometime. He's very good as well.

So if I'm reading this right, a kid we had as a PWO gets a scholarship this season after redshirtimg but now is likely to leave per #GOBC minds and get some money thrown at him by a higher up?
-
He's a microwave ya say?
-
A guy wonders if they'd keep him around based on some of the kids on the radar for them. Very much in lame duck Berry 2.0 with them with a lot of excuses and pretty poor roster structure at the moment. Surprise....portal goalies every year is a band aid fix....

Friday night SCSU would've had an empty net goal, but the Duluth d man ran a big time interference on the wall on the blue line thats supposed to be a point of emphasis and called. Duluth ends up tying it and winning it late.

Magness. UNLV beat Denver at Magness with NCHC officials. I kid, I kid.

You perked my interest with this, so I researched the ND HS coaches and where they played in college at all levels. East you have Skarp at UND, Paranica at UND. Metcalf at Mankato. Klein D3 with a few different stops. Metz D3, Olsonawski at Crookston. West you have Willert at Omaha, Faragher SCSU, Grubb at Wayne State, Davison played for the Pats and then collegiate hockey at Manitoba, Stillwell D3, Miller at Bottineau, Tschida at Umary, Dora a cup of coffee in the ACHA. Federenko at Duluth. I had no idea the head coach at Williston was the captain of the Bulldogs. You learn something every day.
