This feels very similar to the 1996 World Cup of hockey game 3. Back then it was Mike Richter holding down the fort with Canada buzzing like hell.

We got pushed around that period. Lucky that its a tie game. I think the 5x3 gave Canada momentum that they took throughout the period. It was a big kill for us, but we couldn't get anything going after.

I was wondering if he has to sit another one for that. That is a big time loss for them as he's their best d man. Sheyenne hasn't scored a ton lately, both teams with good young goaltenders. I think 3-2 either way seems likely.

So: Sheyenne vs Minot Red River vs Jamestown Central vs Century Legacy vs Shanley Punchers chance for the west in two of them. Central against Century could be like the last Central-Shanley game.
