If Minot wins WDA and plays Shanley first at state that game is a toss up and the West's best chance.

We still hold all the cards. Get a win tonight and Denver is 5 back with Western having to win at CC tonight or they'd be out of the running. Still glad they lost the shootout. Two BS performances in a row bailed out by a late push shouldn't get rewarded with points.

First year back and Shanley punches their ticket. If Sheyenne wins they are the #3, if Davies wins they are the #4.

EDC Picks: Central, Shanley, Davies. WDA: Minot, Jamestown, Century

Didn't deserve two points after those first two periods. A point is fair for finding a way to get the game to overtime. I'm probably in the minority but I was hoping they'd lose the shootout. Can't walk out of the rink thinking they "won" that game with an extra point shootout win. I'd like to see a more desperate group tomorrow night.

Hear it a lot, but we've got to get the puck behind their D and grind a bit. Lot of one and done with rushes kind of being our only offense after the first goal.

Central and Minot punch their tickets, both in run time. Night games I'll say Red River 5-1, and Legacy 5-0.

Central up 7-0 after 2. Minot up 5-1 after 2.

After 1 period: Central up 3-0. Minot up 4-0.

The NDHSAA needs to have off ice officials for the goal judges. The 3rd goal was absolutely the right call, didn't see the first one. Not sure on the second one as you can't see the puck. The goal judge is an 80 year old guy likely volunteering his time, but in these games is that the guy who should be in that position? All the Central kids behind the net were pointing at it like it was a goal, but high school kids nonetheless. Officials have a tough job. I thank them for their service.

Sheyenne ends WFHS season 4-1. Century moves on 5-1 over Williston.

They have never missed a state tournament with EDC played in Grand Forks. 2010 was at Scheels Arena. Lost 2-1 to West Fargo.

He said decent. Punchers chance. I'd say likely not. Whomever gets the GF schools is playing at Farmers Friday. Minot against Shanley or North is the best chance for the west.

Its just a better opportunity to make the state tournament after they lost to Mandan. They play the #9 seed today, and if they win the #6 seed likely tomorrow. They aren't happy they lost, they're happy Jamestown lost.
