NCHC again looks again to be uber elite next year in the landscape of college hockey. Denver, Duluth, UND, Western, are going to be battling like heck for the conference championship. Gun to my head I'll pick Duluth, depending on Gajan's replacement adjusting to the college game. We aren't going anywhere, but I'd assume with scheduling we will be making a trip to Denver and Western next season. St. Thomas with a punchers chance. Can't wait to see Karl back at the Ralph and the post game handshakes.

Not having Littler in is a bit confusing IMO. Not that one guy would have made a difference. Zakreski playing on his off wing when you've got a righty that is tough on the wall. IDK.

I think Spunar will have the option to leave for sure. His performance in the NCAA tournament was excellent, and as a soon to be a 22 year old free agent with his size will garner attention. NCHC goaltender of the year. I hope he likes where he's at.

Much agreed. Wisconsin deserved to win the game. Dictated play that entire first period. I think their goaltender was good, maybe the #1 star, maybe not. Not like Hunwick who flat out stole the game. Our guys gotta bear down too and finish. Our goaltender's performance was what kept the game from being 5-1 and a laugher. A great performance by Jan Spunar.

I think you probably look to pull at maybe the 4 minute mark here. Gotta get something going and fast.

I agree. Zakreski with a soft play in the neutral zone on the 2nd goal, and our d made up for it by being too wide on the entry.
