Menghini. Or however you spell it.

ESPN+ not working for me.

Some schedules have started to come out. Excited to see Warroad in West Fargo this year. On another note I see we have changed the name in Minot to Minot United....sigh....
-
Dave says a sweep. I believe him. Home opener for them tonight. Not sure what kind of crowds they get, but will be some emotion for them.

We all get an opinion, but the Brosmer talk to me is just....yeah. Him going 3-4 for 13 yards and now he's the savior. That for sure will make our defense not get gashed by a rb who was bagging groceries until the other guys got hurt. Looking at Kwesi, what is the strength of the team he built? Offense was good for one quarter with JJ, defense is a mess, team looked uninspired, stupid penalties... Now the rest of the year JJ is going to get smacked around, but you've got to live with it because he's got to play. I'm taking the Lions to cover next week. Dan Campbell is going to roll us...

This right here. His play calling also cost Cousins his season when they should've been running the ball in Green Bay. The Darrisaw one was stupid, one of the biggest karma choices I've ever seen in professional sports.

State of the purple: -Defense is soft, got pushed around up front and in the secondary. -Seems like JJ will play next week at Detroit? If not it very well could be Brosmer because Wentz is hurt. Brosmer not getting in sooner tonight tells the world what the coaches who know more about football than I ever will know think of Max Brosmer. Think Zimmer and Kellen Monde scenario. -KOC needs to hand off play calling. Just let it go. You aren't McVay, you just aren't. Third and short....pass... Second and long....run....to set up third and long with a terrible line. -Turner may be a bust. Will see about JJ shortly. I'm starting to see that KOC is starting to lose some of the fanbase. Maybe it started with the last two games last season, but things aren't so rosy for him.

Over under on QB sacks has to be 8.

Yeah, sounds like Looker will be by himself on the road. -

Sending my best wishes to TH. Getting to that stage in his life where health has to be the priority for him as he's not getting any younger. Posted a number of times before, but he and O'Keefe together years ago was the best that college hockey will ever have. They fed so well off of each other, and the games were beautifully narrated with inciteful color commentary. O'Keefe was pretty heavy homer with his green glasses on, but to be expected from most crews. -
Did you tell them they are responsible for the Ferda Oxbow mid first quarter attendance check per requested by @ Wilbur?

Looking at the injury report makes you wonder about these Thursday games. Darrisaw and O'Neil both questionable. Jones may play, but likely won't, Ham out, Van Ginkel out, Scott questionable. If Mason gets dinged then Cam Akers is the starting RB.

You have to win by 20+. Respect the opponent, but lets put up 50 on them. I'd love to see #8 as QB the entire fourth quarter.
-
Its medicine enough to watch McLaughlin miss out on scoring chances and Boisvert turn the puck over.
-
Should be on espn plus if you have that with streaming. Loads of east coast games each Friday and Saturday. I think I watch just about every BU or BC game.
-
PREACH!!!! Nice to have positive energy with this group. Love having backups in on the road in the 4th quarter of games!

I think its been said a lot around here, but I don't think we should feel uneasy about the team sitting at 3-1 after the first two weekends of the year. Lets trust the new process and see where we end up at in April. Get two wins this weekend and head into the home opener against a much improved Duluth squad sitting at 5-1. Great opportunity to get the Spunnar into the nets this weekend. Have Gibby go on Friday night, and then on Saturday you're playing for your Freshman goaltenders first win.

UND heads to upstate, and I mean upstate New York to take on Clarkson. The Golden Knights are 1-3 and have managed to lose to Canisius (who loses to them?), RIT, and Penn State. Their one win was against the the then #1 team in the country in Happy Valley of all places. Their goalies don't have great stats, and nobody jumps off the stat page IMHO. Good time for a road trip for the group. Get on a plane and spend some quality time together. Or spend 30 hours on a bus and make it a real road trip. Potsdam looks like an Oxford type location. Small city that houses a private university with some charm. Google tells me we have played Clarkson one time, and that game wasn't even in the United States. Back in 2012 it was a 3-1 win in Winnipeg. Sexsmith legend Carter Rowney with a pair of goals in that one. Anyone making the trip? UND sweeps. 5-1, and 4-3.

Every great run comes to an end. I think Mike Lamoine (a salt of the earth guy btw) does a great job helping Tim in the booth for the home games and Looker on the road. Tim really appreciated Mike getting Tim's son in the booth last year, that was a nice moment. I'm guessing the plan is for Looker to be the heir apparent in the booth and a new person comes along to do the PA at the Ralph. -
3-3...... -Not Mr. Wentz's best game.... -Defense got sliced..... -The play calling again..... The realist in me sees them not putting JJ on the field against the Chargers on Thursday against the old ball coach. Could be wrong.
-
Hurts just toys with our d there. Third and long, just rolls out and fires for the first down.
-
One score game! Stay positive!!! This is why I go to church on Sunday mornings. It helps when im watching the Vikings.
-
No way the Vikes let JJ in this game with the interior line. He'd get killed on his bad ankle. One half to go, only down one score.
-
May have been the worst games that I've seen #4 and #21 play. Better now than April.

I think Schloss tried to help the fan bases' psyche by showing the numbers about either team getting swept in this series, just doesn't happen. Even when we had DeRidder in the net, and they had Knies, Cooley, Snuggy, LaCombe, Faber, Brodzinski and the games were on the then Olympic rink Mariucci arena....heck, that team took that Minnesota team to OT twice. Not excusing the effort, just understanding that there is a ton of pride on both sides of the river in this one.
