  1. It's always one thing or another. Sparty, they got out competed for a majority of the series. Denver, sloppy special teams, lack of finishing. Minnesota, terrible in own end, their goalie has the night of his life. Duluth, not Cams best weekend, terrible special teams.
  2. Wilkie and Pogo gotta get going. Boeser will produce when he is healthy. Rhett needs a bucket of pucks and an open net to shoot at. And for the love of God, Vancouver needs to demote Stecher back to the NCAA ranks.
  3. This team needs Troy Stecher. Right? Right?
  4. Wife just had a beautiful baby girl!!!! Great night!!!
  5. They need some secondary scoring. Paging: Olson, Wilkie, Simo, Joel..... Buehler?
  6. There are two officials for a reason. What is the back official looking at? That's just awful....
  7. Tell me that's a delay of game..... Great call reff.....wait...
  8. Seriously, we need to quit playing big ten teams.....I mean any type of contact and they fall.....I can't stand hockey like that. UND playing like crap doesn't help....
  9. Pretty uninspired period.....no real chances other than Rhett's post.
  10. Totally different game if Rhett shoots puck in open net.
  11. Wilbur live from the delivery room: Have to win tonight.....ohh wait....wife needs ice chips..... It's an absolute miracle my wife is letting me have the game on right now.... GO SIOUX!!!!!

So let's pretend we don't get a punt blocked week 1, and convert a two point conversion week #2. What is our seed at 11-0?
  13. Gosh I hope they can get ten grand in the seats. Wife is pregnant, due any time, so can't make the game, but otherwise would drive the five hours to be there. 8,500 is my guess.
  14. Count me as one of the amazed at the turn in the PK. SCSU didn't have a sniff on the PP for most of the weekend. That wide open back door play they've scored on many.....many occasions over the past few years never became a factor. Even 6-4 at the end UND got a clean kill without any real threats to the shutout.

Hey!! Western Illinois finishes at 6-5 yet again!!!!!!!! All MVFC (good) losses....I don't care if they ended up with three losses in a row to end the year. Definitely a consideration for the smoke filled room tomorrow.
  16. Didn't have to listen to the "woooooooo" after a huskies goal this weekend....thank God.....
  17. Hate to say it, but lineup might be better without Olson. Love his effort and tenacity, but not sure where he fits with guys like Yon and Bowen deserving time.
  18. Defensively I thought that may have been UNDs best game. Cam had to be sharp at times, but he saw everything, and there wasn't a time when it was him against the world down close. PK was active, which can be trouble against a good PP, but the killers did a great job attacking puck bobbles and indirect passes. Ole said it on the radio last night, and I definitely agree that it was Casey Johnsons best game. Showed confidence bringing the puck north out of his end and made a great recovery play on a two on one when he got his stick in there to deflect the puck. Nice to see the team rewarded for a great effort. Let's see how tonight goes.
  19. Business suits have a way of bringing out a great effort sometimes. Now back at it tomorrow to make up some ground in the NCHC.
