Where has the Gersich-Jost-Pogo line been all my life? Gerisch playing like a man possessed and now he and Jost have the big body that makes it a more complete line. JJ-Rhett-Boeser had their moments too, I like the line changes. Thank God Berry reads and responds to siouxsports.com….:P

I wasn't at UC Davis in 2001, so I can't compare. But that Northern Alabama game noise wise was the loudest I've ever experienced at any sporting event I've ever been to. Student section screaming every play NA had the ball......I was right in the middle of it. Great times!

First game at Alerus in years for me. Have to figure out how to get students back involved. The section used to be the difference against teams like NDSU and Northern Alabama. Last time UND played the Bison in GF the Bizen were cocky coming in and you could tell by the way their fans walked in and the tailgating. During the pregame the NDSU faithful started a "Let's go Bison" chant. I saw a ton of our players look around and they were kind of surprised at how many Bison fans were there. Within ten seconds the UND student section started a perfectly timed and splendid "FUC& THE BISON" chant that echoed throughout the Al and shut up all the SU rubes. Best part was a few players on our side got smiles on their faces and knew who was there for them all day. No, I don't have the answer, but we need the student section back to full strength.

Thoughts: -Denver was better, but UND has to bury chances like what Gersich had late, and salvage at least a point. -I don't like Boeser killing penalties. Just an opinion. Rather have Simonson or Bowen, etc. Boeser to me doesn't do the little things on the kill. -Wolanin may have been our best defenseman this weekend. Over fancy at the blue line a few times, and got caught by Denver on a few stretch passes, but I liked how he played. -Cam would like #3 back. NHL shot or not, you see it from the top of the circles it's gotta be stopped. Don't know how much the rumor means, but heard that Tomek isn't getting in any time soon. Again, rumors of course. -I think they found the right combo with Pogo-Rhett-Smith, but they have to find a way to get Boeser going, alterations ahead I'm sure.

This has to be it for Butcher right? He has been running Denver's powerplay for at least the last ten years.....
