I am more on the end the game on the advantage side, than try and score side. That way Russia has no chance to go 6-5 in the final moments with their goaltender off the ice. Definitely pros and cons for both sides of the argument. Not even sure I wouldn't take the penalty shot.

Great win for the U.S. over Russia today! Sets up another big matchup on Saturday against Canada. Anybody else think the U.S. should have declined the penalty shot and made Russia serve the penalty late in the game? Tough call, but I think given the situation and crappy ice I go a man up for the remainder of the game. Doesn't matter right now, but a talking point.

Matej may have got caught a bit deep on goal number four. Get out there and be big Mates. This makes me want to see him in a game for UND. He hasn't been bad.
