That is an official's nightmare. Season on the line, team trailing with the puck with a scoring opportunity. You are going to get yelled at either way. JBD should have laid there and just let it play out. Imagine if they were playing Omaha and Abate was on the ice and saw he was shaken up.

I get the hole hardwork beats talent line, but that Miami team got beat by a team going through the motions for a good portion of that game. Without a sensational third period from Ludvig that game is 11-2. I agree that his squad needs some players, but maybe let the dust settle on the season.

Good point. With Scheel being an Ohio kid I was surprised he didn't end up at a number of those midwestern schools. I mean, Bowling Green, Ohio State, Miami, Notre Dame, insert Michigan directional or university school. Or head east to a load of schools.

Every time I see a little goaltender play well the memory comes back. A few years ago during the U18 World Tournament Dylan St. Cyr (Notre Dame now) played lights out.....and every game the memory was just there of the little Michigan goalie that could.....

If this AA pee wee thing and AA bantam thing is going to stick (it will), then two tiered high school hockey has to happen. It just does. Dickinson/Williston/Grafton having their kids play at a lower level from Pee Wees on up is killer for the high school teams, yet in a lot of cases is necessary to keep the kids in the hockey program away from a wrestling mat or an orange bouncy ball.

Well, its official. We are good to go with Miami. Make life difficult for Ludvig. We don't need to see a tiny goalie put on a show and have the game of his life in the playoffs. We've seen that movie.
