So here is a question. RR vs Central tonight. How many Central kids should be RR and vice versa? Or is it unknown with open enrollment?

I thought there was already a co-op with Oak Grove and Park kids playing with Shanley? I guess I didn't realize that Capstone had high school kids. Thinking they will be calling the new Sports Center home in some capacity, also heard rumors of a rink at Shanley on the school grounds.

Hammer won the Brimsek, then USHL goalie of the year, then the Clark Cup, now the Penrose. But on a positive note for UND Kaleb Johnson will be 100% ready to go next year.

Two good games. Red River blocked a ton of shots, credit to them. Their forwards play like their head coach, I appreciate that kind of hockey. Thought their goaltender was good as well. I can't remember a time where a west team only gave up 17 shots to Red River. Central vs. RR part 4. Good luck to the kids.

Legacy/Bismarck up 3-1 after two periods. Be nice to have a different champion in the girls ranks.

Shots 34-10, still 2-1 RR. Goaltender from Mandan has been good.

East Grand to state. 3-2 over Marvin Windows AAA. 1-0 RR over Mandan.

Top two west teams with good showings. Now Mandan can't get blown out of the building.

5-1 Minot. Magi look to be moving on.

You and I have coached long enough to know the battle of winning a game with 6 forwards and 4 D. TV timeouts will help, but the 2-3 minute shifts don't help things.

He hesitated, can't do that as a goalie on those pucks. Credit to Century for battling back. Packers face a big task tomorrow.

Boys tournament kicks off today at REA. The first and last games probably not much to write home about, but the 2:30 and 5:30 games have the opportunity to be good games. Not so difficult prediction for Saturday night......We will have the Roughriders playing the Knights.

Did they have to open up the upper bowl? Love the Ralph. A treat to play there. Just too big.

Pee Wee AA and A tournament. You had Eric Fabian having to fend off parents after the A title game. Not a good scene for youth hockey.

There will be ND state tournaments this year with security guards after what happened at one of the tournaments last year (Fargo parents involved with that one too....surprise.....). I watched the live barn video of the incident. As soon as I saw the Grand Forks players go in front of the Fargo parents I knew it was going to reach a new level. I would have a tough time holding it together if an idiot put their hands on my kid after a hockey game. Man.....
