Red River rolling in WF. I don't think Sheyenne has a grade A opportunity in the game. Riders still angry about losing that one to Central on Tuesday.

Interesting game up in DL. Sheyenne vs. Red River probably with the most eyes on it, but I think there could be some OT at Burdick tonight.

I believe since it was late December it will be mid February.

Red River was up 3-0 on Central and according to the game sheet took 2 late penalties to give the Knights a late power play. Sheyenne lost one of their best d men to what I'd guess is a season ending leg injury. Did not look good. Hope he can recover in a few months as he's quite the lacrosse player.

I'll reserve judgement until Danny lifts his chin up and looks down his nose at the room while talking about his experience calling plays in the Pac 12.

With Western off this weekend, and then at Duluth next weekend this is a great opportunity to get out to a big lead in the NCHC standings. In a perfect world UND could have a double digit lead over the likes of the Pios, the Broncos, and the Dawgs when all is said and done Saturday night. Lets hope for a split in Stearns county this weekend as well. From this point on splits by all teams other than us are a positive. I'll say UND gets 4+ this weekend. Tough to believe the Pios could go on a 7 game winless run, but I wouldn't mind seeing it this weekend.

Now I'm hearing Harbaugh has a connection to the Pack and a home on the upper peninsula. The last two playoff losses for the Packers have been gut wrenchers. Do they keep Love happy and stick with LaFleur?

That will be fun for the coaches to break down in the film room as we had bodies back and still allowed a guy in alone on our goalie.
