Its been an entire year of no puck luck honestly. Especially against Western Michigan of all teams.

I think we could see a repeat of a few years ago where UND finds a way against Omaha on Sunday, and then complete let down on Friday afternoon at the X. For UND to win this series we will need TJ to be outstanding. Probably in the minority, but part of me thinks that if you win on Friday night you go with Hobie on Saturday in a nothing to lose scenario to give TJ a break and maybe just maybe Hobie plays great and you find a way to St. Paul in two games. You'll get a full fledged punch from Omaha on Saturday night and then we aren't worrying about TJ getting left out to dry as we know how our team does with back to back performances.

If we would just go by what @Oxbow6 says with wins against average and his XPTW formula we are in the top five of the pairwise. Don't let what you see on the ice fool you with the eye test. It's about more than that.

I would very much be on board for this. I think you could start Minot North in the A, and Horace in the A to ease the 17-0 beating they'd take from the Grand Forks schools, and as they get rosters filled move them up to the big school league.

Looks like there are 3 streams at the Scheels IcePlex in Sioux Falls, so should be able to watch the games there. Thanks for everything Sam. He got paid, and thankfully it wasn't the Vikings paying him. JJ's team now. He's got all the tools to be the guy, and a lot of talent around him. I'd much rather have Sauce from the Jets than Rogers. Jones or Mullens the backup. You can pay Mullens less and get some interior lineman on both sides of the ball.

Minot native here. They've got to rip the band aid off and just put the North team on the ice. Both teams will struggle initially, there could be no state tournament for either squad, but you've got to do it with the numbers. There were 28 kids on the Jr. Gold team this year according to the roster on their website. I feel that the can may get continually kicked down the road on this one unfortunately. A lot of people see what happened to Bismarck High hockey and ultimately go to that worst case scenario.

Years ago I was told directly that it was minimal $300,000 for the weekend. I've got to imagine that number has increased.

I felt for TJ. The way he has played lately he didn't deserve that performance in front of him.

They as well are playing for their lives. I'd assume TJ until the season ends. Maybe Littler next weekend? Team needs 4 wins to make it to Fargo. I'd very much put that in the unlikely category. Baxter a better place to play than Magness. I'll say Mavs in 3.
