  1. Rocco doesn't determine who is on his team, but he controled a number of things that were downright awful. Base running, bullpen management, in game management dreadful. We don't hit and run, bunt, and only started stealing late in the season when it was over with. The Pohlads are still terrible, and Falvey is who he is, but this is one move they made together that makes sense.
  2. Lots of questions going into next year. Will Rocco be back? Will Ryan and Pablo be traded away? Will Walker Jenkins make his big league debut before June? Rotation: Pablo, Ryan, Ober, SWR, Abel or Bradley. Again, Pablo and Ryan definitely up in the air. In the outfield you've got Roden, Buck, Larnarch, Wallner, Martin. In the infield you've got: Keaschall, Lee, Royce, Julien, Clemens. Catching you've got: Jeffers and Pereda, can't see them bringing back Vasquez unless its a super cheap veterans minimum type contract.
  3. Kepler went deep, and the team struck out three times in the 10th. That summed up the year well.
  4. The first two days just doomed them. Just an impossible number to make up when it gets to the singles.
  5. I'm worried that with this line you'll end up getting JJ hurt when he's back. KOC is going to need to go max protect and chip a lot. Teams like the Eagles will get pressure with 4 and just roll coverage on Jefferson. Micah Parsons also picking his chops.
  6. Truth be told, that would've been a crime had they won. Defense was awful. Not Wentz's best game, but he battled, and I appreciate that. He's going to need an ice bath afterwards.
  7. 100% He has to pass off play calling to someone else.
  8. Hasn't been great, but the o-line is in shambles and the play calling has again reared its ugly head into conversation again. I can't imagine they want JJ coming back next week with this o-line going against the Browns. I'd hold him out until after Philly at the least.
  9. Well we lose our right tackle and KOC is struggling with the play calling thus far. Still early, and now the defense can't tackle.
  10. Scottie will go down as one of the greatest golfers of his generation but his performance this weekend should never be forgotten. Maybe in the future you start him in the foursomes away from the alternate shot because he has not been good whatsoever, and it started Friday morning. 11.5 to 4.5 I'll say Europe wins 19-9.
  11. Dustin Johnson, Spieth, Brooks, Clark, Finau, Reed. Not saying they should be on the team, but what the heck happened with those guys? A few years back i would've said we are almost unbeatable in team competitions, but now we are getting run out of New York. At the same time Keegan should've brought his clubs.
  12. The beat down at Bethpage. USA not the rage at Bethpage. Many ways you can go with it.
  13. The guys I picked in my mind to not play are all playing alternate shot in the morning....... This has all the lookings of a 10.5 to 5.5 Europe lead going into Sunday.
  14. I'm baffled by Bryson and JT in alternate shot. I would've put Spaun with Scottie in the alternate shot because now the best player in the world isn't playing like himself when you need him to be great against Rahm, who is playing lights out right now.
  15. How does Spaun not make the morning groups? You throw out Thomas and Bryson together? Yikes. Need Patrick Cantlay to step with Xander here.
  16. Three games left in the season. Likely swept in Philly as the Phillies have the outside hope of the top seed depending on how the Reds and Brewers fare. Maybe they win the last one of the season. Offseason may be an interesting one as I see the team cutting further salary. The pitching situation after the rotation will be interesting. Other than Funderburk and Sands I don't know who your late inning guys are now. If you told me that Funderburk or Sands coming back are their best relievers in 2026 I probably would've disagreed with you a few months ago, but that is now the case.
  17. Caleb Heil plays in an NHL game before a college game. Its officially the wild west in collegiate athletics. Good experience for him though. This definitely will become the new norm.
  18. Good for you! I'll look forward to reading your new updates!
  19. Honestly, with the talent that we have at QB, you could have all three QB's on the field as a look for them to have to think about preparing for. Not sure the legality of having three QB's on the field at the same time, but I'd do it if its a legal play. Heck, you could put Simon on the field in the punt team look and on 4th and short sneak it if the look is right or try and draw them off. Maybe too much backyard football there though.
  20. Nice to see the team win and the North Dakota native get a win in his debut. Met Carson a few years back at a Landon's Light charity event in West Fargo. Salt of the earth human being. Whether he wins games or not with the Vikings I'll still have the forever impression that he is a good person. Now we head overseas and see two QBs that combined age is 81 years old.
  21. 17-0 Vikes. Wentz managing the game so far. Missed a throw or two but I'm a viking fan and know you can't be upset when its 17-0.
  22. Gotta see a better team from the start next week. They are where I thought they'd be record wise.
  23. That play won't be good on the film for #27. Oof.
  24. The old QB still can't throw.
  25. I'd anticipate they cover today. Exactly what you'd expect coming off the Montana game. I'm sure it was addressed by the coaching staff that the first half wasn't acceptable, and a very teachable moment. Get the ball and drive it down their throat and go from there. How about a 3TD third quarter here.
