Big early season test for Jax and Stewart as they will be heavily relied upon. I'm of the opinion that they should make Varland into a bullpen guy, but they think he can start.

Right. After they won Hockey East and then we get them first round when they are probably the hottest team in the country. The response that period completely shifted the momentum. The 4th line getting a grind goal was huge.

When Michigan tied that game in the third I thought they might be in trouble, but that group just dug deeper. The same thing against DU when they were getting rolled in the third period. The CBS line just wouldn't allow them to lose.

ESPN needs to figure out a way to get Ben Holden back on the mic for the NCAA tournament games. Put him and Starman in a region together. Or wait, just put Leah Hextall on so we can just mute the game.

You are all welcome. I picked Minnesota to win the national championship as I always put the kiss of death on the school that I want to blow it each year by selecting them. Its extremely hard when you have a Duluth and a Minnesota in the tournament these days. Thankfully Duluth sucked. With great power comes great responsibility.

I'm not complaining about the rink, it'll host the regional just fine, with plenty of tickets to spare. I'm more on edge that the NCAA/coaches are fine with letting regionals get played in front of crowds that would make a youth t ball team blush. *Also on edge that the boys had great seats for Sam Hunt....sigh...
