I can't speak for Grand Forks, but Fargo-West Fargo is a battle royale. Like the day new possible locations open up or contracts expire there are lines at the door if you've got your paperwork in order. I'm the last one to know the legalities of how it all works. This ^^^^^^^ Well known by those in the know in Fargo that NDSU or maybe I should say Teammakers has tried to pull the rug under nonprofits in order to get gaming sites. Charitable gaming is a dog eat dog world. Like you mentioned, intended for nonprofit outfits, and thats not always the way things work out.

Gotta have a filter when you are the voice for any college level operation. Your takes also can't blindly contradict what 99% of people saw with their eyes as well. At some point you'd think the Sports Information Director for UMD athletics would tell him to get away from keyboard warrior moments during games.

Championship mentality. The goal that UND gave up on Saturday night Dylan James was in the area of the shot from the point but if you asked him he probably would tell you he can't let that puck get to the net and do more for his team. He more than made up for it getting the huge 3rd goal, but in tight hockey games in March and April that is the difference.

At long last we return to REA for a series against the born again Red Hawks from Oxford. They just "split" with Western but got two of the possible six points with the win being in OT. Who knew they had 17 wins on the year? Who honestly knows the name of their head coach? I had to look it up, and I couldn't tell you the guy after Blasi either. If we get 12 points the next two weekends we are playing with house money in Kalamazoo. Discuss.....

I'm just happy they are done winning national championships until the end of time. Even if they were quasi D1 national championships. Its on you Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Georgia. Indiana. Don't overlook NDSU on the recruiting trail.

Raises his hand as cheering for Denver over Duluth in that game. That group from Duluth was a bunch of clowns. Ran around running goalies (Pionk) and taking penalties every shift, then yelling at officials when they'd call said penalties. The NCHC championship game that season was Duluth in a nutshell. Everything that is wrong about that program.

Probably embellished, but the officials have lost control of the game..... Put that in your broadcaster hall of game. There is the reason Duluth is in the embellishment video the NCAA put out.

Warroad played Sheyenne today in West Fargo. Warriors won 3-2 in a game that Sheyenne's young goaltender was fantastic. Was trying to think of the last time Warroad played a game in North Dakota not against either Central or Red River. Credit to Sheyenne, they battled while chasing the warriors most of the game.

Assuming this move means we likely don't see the Bison in Grand Forks for some time. Sucks, but we go forward. I think for them they had to figure out a way to get their fans bases' attention back. Attendance way down, embarrassing in their playoff game. I was offered free tickets to a number of games this year, healthy pass. I know a number of people that don't go to the games any more because its almost always over at half time and the tailgating is overrated (their words, not mine). I'll enjoy the narrative changing like it did many years ago: -Win a bunch of D2 titles, move up, act like D2 was beneath you, still claim titles. -Best FCS team probably ever, bunch of titles again, will now act like FCS is a garbage slew of college football teams they were above, while never admitting that when they were rolling all these crap supposed D1 football teams.

I'd be in favor of them just calling it a tie if it goes to OT. You can play the three on three or the shootout and give your winner an extra point, but national seeding and conference championships being determined by pond hockey isn't for this guy.

I was told FCS football was practically the SEC. How does one move up from that?

Players are allowed to practice during their suspension. DL could've had home ice with him in their lineup. Now they'll have to beat Mayport and then a trip to Eagles Arena and the bleach supply in GF will be in short supply.
