I see a lot of you aren't picking our biggest rival to beat Denver even though Denver has only 3 lines. Those TV timeouts are huge.

Had a friend remind me of that time we were 7-4 and rolling at the end of the year, and the committee took 6-5 Western Illinois instead of us..... Winning by 20 plus Saturday would help.....

I've scored more than him the last few months, and you have no idea how little that is.....

My Pee Wee A coach (26 years ago) had me scared for my life. The guy invented the Hak stare before we all knew the Hak stare. Played most of my games scared to death I would screw up and the whole arena would know my name from him yelling it. He knew the game, but easily the worst year of hockey I ever had. We had a great year too. Finished 3rd in the state, beat Grand Forks South which at that time was the future Red River kids. Probably the most successful hockey team I ever played on and I spent the whole year hating it.

This defense is soft. Pound the football down their throats. Against SDSU: 350 on the ground, 7.9 YPA on the ground, an 80 yard TD by a QB, 531 yards of total offense.... I get they weren't playing the little sisters of the poor, and the Jacks are a top five team in the country, but those stats will get a defensive coordinator fired. Offensively WIU was 2-15 on third down.....RUDY RUDY RUDY!!!!!!!

I was told CC has to know by Tuesday. If its a no go then, UND gets a bye. If its a go and then whoops we have a setback Weds or Thursday then SCSU gets the bye.

-Miami needs a fantastic goaltending performance from a freshman to have any hope.... -CC needs the same..... -Western vs. Duluth is a toss up. If someone can convince Western they are playing at Lawson instead of REA they'll win. -Denver vs. Omaha. Must win for Denver. I think Omaha needs at least one more win to be sure of the NCAA. Denver is better when they're interested. I'll go with them.

For the first time in years....(ever?) I just saw regular season college hockey highlights on ESPN. Nobody got hurt on a bad hit, no records broken, no insane play to make the top ten, it wasn't the Bean Pot.... Now I challenge ESPN to have highlights without Buccigross pushing them into the show.

Yup, too many lost games for them to lose one at the end of the year in Grand Forks of all places.

Could be Miami, could be the dreaded bye, but I like our chances better against Miami. Get healthy CC. Hoping they are a go next Saturday.

So we are supposed to play Miami, however, if CC knows before Tuesday they aren't going to be able to play we get a bye to the semifinals? BUT......if CC doesn't know before Tuesday and they end up dropping out on Wednesday or Thursday the #2 seed gets the bye? Do I have this correct? If they do drop out Duluth could play Miami for the 7th time this year.

Had TH the first two periods of the game on the road home. The guy just paints a beautiful picture of the game. Hopefully he's available to do the pxp of my funeral some day.
