Well since Skip said it, all NHL OT in the playoffs should be 3x3 and then a shootout to determine the winner if no one scores. The Stanley Cup on the ice after a shootout is what the game is all about.

I'd say period 1 advantage Canada. For Canada to not get one while USA hasn't gotten their footing is big for USA. Make the power play count period 2 and get the lines rolling.

No real surprises at EDC last evening. Shanley looked pretty good against Sheyenne and have a big test on Friday against Central. If they lose they are looking at the North-Devils Lake winner in an EDC play in game on Saturday. All West Fargo loser out on Friday should be fun.

The biggest thing they always point to is the Jamestown to Williston or vice versa on a Tuesday. I'm very in favor of the Tuesday opener. Teams that earn the higher seed should get the opener in their home rink.

I think thats probably a play he'd like to have back. With the way goalies almost automatically go into RVH on whatever post the puck is on he gets caught between challenge the play with slight overlap on the post, or go into RVH if he goes lower on the goal line with the puck. He gets caught low and when Wiebe cuts across to his forehand its a done deal, #25 is too good for that kind of mistake. Wiebe also being a left handed shot coming in on his off wing per say would lead me as a goaltender to want to establish good depth right away and shy away from an RVH in that situation. That being said, that kid is the NCHC goaltender of the week or the system is broken.

Haven't seen CC play much other than against us. Going on last weekend's results and Mbereko making 38 saves in a 4-1 win at Stearns County Concrete and Hockey facility I'm guessing he's going to be the guy against Western, at least on Friday night.

Sweep the leg. Playing for the league regular season championship. Mbereko will get CC at least one point against Western right? Right? How fun would it be to see Livanavage (#4), skate the cup in front of the Lawson lunatics though? If you don't know what im talking about you haven't been paying attention.

Can anyone explain how the USA women get undefeated Sweden in the semis, while Canada gets the Swiss? You'd think Canada would have to play them based on us being higher rated?
