Ohh Jeff! I have a question! Can you explain why a #1 seed would be seemingly be playing a road game traveling across the country in the NCAA tournament??
I'm not complaining about the rink, it'll host the regional just fine, with plenty of tickets to spare.
I'm more on edge that the NCAA/coaches are fine with letting regionals get played in front of crowds that would make a youth t ball team blush.
*Also on edge that the boys had great seats for Sam Hunt....sigh...
All the while the women's ball tournament regional finals are being played at home sites today....likely to save attendance figures....
Just to have ten minutes in a room with the people that make these decisions...
Watching some of the Sparty-Wolves highlights....boy is our d zone gonna be pressed if it's the Wolves.
I think Michigan's goaltending is sketchy. 5th year kid, but there are times he's a fish out of water.
On a side note it's good to see people pack Munn Ice Arena again. I think that's a direct correlation to them forechecking again.
And thus for the keep things neutral blowhard group....Denver a 1 seed likely in Massachusetts against a team that lost 8-1 in a must win game only to have the right teams win on Saturday to get in.
Crappy part about every Hogg event I attended was it was always after a loss and people were in a bad mood.
Still a good time though. And meeting an individual like Sprig was fantastic. Wish the X hadn't given my kid food poisoning last year. One last go around would have been fun.
They are cheering for:
-Omaha
-BU
-St. Lawrence
-Michigan
St. Lawrence can lose, but BC has to lose as well then. They are big time UNO fans. Although they can be saved by Michigan, BU, and St. Lawrence if the Pios win.
Yup. Livanavage scores a big pp goal, then loses his guy for the dagger.
Team defense at times this year has been abysmal. Not going to make a run without a cleanup in that area. But is it too late?
