Boy, this kid seems to have red flag written all over him. It's hard to understand why kids write what they do on twitter, facebook, etc. Do they not now that anything they put on the internet is public for anyone to see or do they just not care?

Muddys typically has drawn an older crowd. However that is beginning to change a bit due to the new apartments right across the street. Kinda hit and miss though. But it has changed since the apartments have opened...

Brad's blog also states that the leagues has signed it's initial tv deal. It appears to be a 16 game deal with cbs college sports.

37-21 KU at the half. The announcers mentioned that UND is averaging 11 missed layups a game when playing on the road. Just one reason why the Sioux haven't won on the road this season, other than the Minot State exhibition game.

I didn't follow him to closely but didn't Phil Hanson have a pretty solid career with Buffalo? Possibly even made a pro bowl??? Of course alot of that may have had to do with playing next to Bruce Smith...

The person you're referring to is Dave Fennell. There has been plenty of message board speculation that he may donate a large sum of money to UND for football/new stadium, but as far as I recall, he never personally said or pledged that money.

Speaking about their game with the Bobcats, it's going to be on tv on the KX network in Western ND. It's actually being billed as North Dakota's first HD broadcast of a sporting event (not counting ESPN I guess) in ND. I came across this blog while reading the Fargo Forum online. I thought it gave an interesting look at what Fighting Sioux Hockey is about...especially to someone who is seeing a game for the first time. My answer was for football also. However, I feel the same about bball. The GWC served its purpose of guarenteeing us a few games but that's it. We need to show recruits that we are the school of the Dakotas. NDSu is a football school and that's it.

Definitely beating NDSU! GWC was nothing more than crutch until we found a real conference. Too bad we never got the chance to play them...

Good points and I agree. I think Muss deserves another year or two, but it's not just the results that have me worried. There are other areas such as the way he comes across in the media, the undisciplined penalties, players out of postion/taking plays off (think of the kick off against SUU), etc. I think Muss can recruit, especially now that we have a conference. I just don't know that he will get us above "mediocre." I hope I'm wrong...

The Colorado St. transfer is Lisa Parlich who I believe was a Sophomore this past season.

The Final RPI for Women's Volleyball is out. UND finished 52 which is pretty darn good! The Big Sky Conference Tournament winner and representitive for the NCAA Tournament, Northern Colorado, finished at 108. NDSU did well also at 42. Looking forward to next season!

This should be better next year due to Big Sky TV where I believe all conference games and some non-conference games are avaible online. Also, the Big Sky is supposed to be announcing some kind of tv deal with Versus or Root, I don't remember which. It would be nice to see some of the games get picked up on local cable similar to NDSU's deal with NBC North Dakota
