  1. Ok, that makes more sense. I didn't see DE being a big need so I was surprised to see a late offer out there.
  2. I saw that as well but I think the offer is for this coming fall, not 2017. He already has a senior highlight film posted on hudl.
  3. They had the grey helmet on display at the spring game, so I'd assume so.
  4. I know that at one point today, Gordon, Santiago, Olivera, and Nevermann were at the north end of the facility working on RB drills while Norberg was working with the fullbacks and TEs. I'd imagine they see him getting reps at the FB position.
  5. You're right, but the UND press release from the first practice lists a start time of 9:20am.
  6. Go Riders!!
  7. I'm pretty sure it's just Grand Forks, but I can't say for certain.
  8. Hoodie with mesh lining on the inside, hockey jersey style lace at the neck, pouch/pocket on front as well.
  9. Wrong. Scheels had no say in colors, styles, fonts, etc.
  10. Same here.
  11. No. Period. His actions were not justified. His actions were an embarrassment.
  12. As a coach you are supposed to be a leader and a role model. You can see his actions rubbing off on his players as some went through the handshake line and wouldn't even make eye contact with Montana's coach, didn't give him a head nod. Nothing. Jones' actions at the end of the game were inappropriate and childish. Yes, his team just lost a close game. Yes, the non-call on the goaltending play is frustrating, but that one play isn't the only thing that went wrong. Suck it up, be a man, and be a good sport. I don't think the Montana coach wanted to stop and have tea and crumpets, but after a tough battle like that a mere pause to acknowledge a good game is appropriate. Blair Walsh, on a much bigger stage, in a much bigger game, stuck around afterward to shake hands with the Seahawks players and coaches despite missing the biggest kick of his life, one that helped cost his team the season. If he can do it, so can Jones.

    2016 Season

No, he used his redshirt the year Braden Hanson played his lone season here. The fall of '16 will be Joe's final year of eligibility.
  14. ^^^ Exactly.
  15. Nodaks would be redundancy at its finest. What does Nodaks stand for? I've been referred to as a Nodak, not in a derogatory sense, but rather as being someone from the state of North Dakota. So essentially we'd be called the University of North Dakota North Dakotans. GREAT idea. I can't believe a committee had to be formed to settle with these names. Smh.
  16. I agree!
  17. Hey pal, don't quote me as "bitching" about anything. I was simply pointing out my observation. Big difference.
  18. After seeing the pictures of the uniforms under sunlight vs fluorescent light, I have to agree. I can't see the helmets matching.
  19. I was at practice this morning. They didn't do much with K/P returning that I saw. In fact, I didn't see any of the kickers kick. They were mainly doing different types of drills, including hand-eye coordination. As far as the not-dressed crew goes, it included Mollberg, Meindel, Arrington, Oliveira (boot), Ruhe (crutches), Iwarri Smith, Fiedler, Bennett (boot), Vashon Tucker, Reed, Tucker Norby, and Coyne (crutches). Bridges limped off the field on his own power but I'm not sure if he returned or not Mollberg did do some throwing, but had his left ankle/calf taped. Hartness twins were absent today. Gordon looked good at RB. Found some nice holes and got through them quick. They also lined him up at FB, so that might be something to look for as well. There were a couple nice catches by WRs in one-on-one drills. Both catches caused a good roar from the rest of the players. Good catches by Stanley and Cerriteno. Certainly the biggest play of the day came on the final one as Cole Reyes hauled in an INT he had to really go up and get. All in all I think it was a good practice. Good intensity, good tempo, good effort.
  20. It's definitely the lighting. Look at the pic of Ratelle. The jerseys appear darker (although not as dark as the pic of Mollberg) but they still match the helmets. The helmets are definitely brighter than they appear, so I can only assume the jerseys will be as well.
  21. To add to the players who sat out, I noticed Drew Greely was in a jersey and shorts this morning. I don't know if he participated in the afternoon session or not.
  22. The press release states the logo is bigger, but when comparing pictures I think it actually looks smaller.
  23. Hard to satisfy people these days... My first sentence...I think it looks fine... Satisfied? Sure. Could they have done more? Sure. Not sure where I'm so hard to please. And yes, I was referring to the symmetry of the arena name, saying they aren't even with each other, meaning the spacing from mid court. If that's being nitpicky, fine, but I don't think it's completely out there to comment on it.
  24. I think it looks fine but I'm not sure why they wouldn't do something more with the arena name on the floor. Why not center Betty Engelstad over Sioux Center? Or better yet, use her signature instead the block lettering. I think it would be a pretty cool design, something similar to the Summitt at Tennessee. The arena name isn't even on both sides of the court either, but maybe that's just me wanting things to look symmetrical. It just seems like a lot of work not to make a few alterations. Just my opinion.
