I say just keep "Welcome to the Jungle" and ditch everything else. All Jungle, all the time...

...when he cares to play. I think that's where JR's animosity stems from. He knows Kovalchuk has all the talent in the world but just fails to apply it, and I believe he called him out for it on prior occasions. Bailing on the Devils is just further evidence that he didn't really care much for playing in the NHL, and I think JR is using it to pat himself on the back for being "right" the whole time.

C'mon...everyone knows the "MafiaMan Offseason Forum Page" is all you need to pass the time in the offseason.

It's actually in HD when you get it directly from Lakeland OTA (we get it at the lake), but when it's fed through the TPT MN channel (on directv) it's pretty much a blurred mess in SD.
-
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe CBSSN controls the rights to do BU's home games, so if NESN does air the series @ BU we should be able to see it with a sports pack. Also, don't forget the game @ Bemidji may be on Lakeland Broadcasting via MN public channels. Edit: Has NBC Sports announced their HEA TV schedule? Perhaps we will have one of the BU games nationally on NBC Sports?
-
Yes it will, and as Jayson Hajdu has mentioned they will be in HD and should have improved streaming quality.

I only watched the first inning, but as far as All-Star Games go, MLB is the only one worth watching. At least the pitchers still pitch and the fielders still catch, unlike the NBA, NHL, and NFL where defense is frowned upon in ASGs.

If you're going to eliminate any lines in OT, keep the red for icings (for the O-zone faceoffs) but get rid of the blues!

Kristo is the type that intended to win a title from the moment he set foot on campus.

It's funny, because you'd think something as simple as proper spacing would be very, very easy to fix - if it was completely under Chicago's control. I think credit has to go to Boston for denying Chicago the areas of the ice they want to be on. Also, I haven't seen a team better with their sticks on the kill (or in the defensive zone, period) as Boston is right now.
-
It would be foolish to say this one's over. It's not like Chicago is stinking up the joint - they're just pressing in my opinion. Case in point was Kane's wide shot from the slot in the 3rd period, I think. Was it Shaw who fed him a perfect drop-pass in the slot and he fired it wide by a few inches? If he just lets it fly it's probably a goal! Chicago is letting Rask and their lack of finishing get in their heads a bit, I think. The hardest thing to do is eliminate a team. This series is only 2-1, and if Chicago just starts to loosen up a bit things may change. I like how Boston is playing, but they haven't been perfect like a lot of people are making it seem.
-
One could say the same about Chicago in Game 1. Either way, this series is rightfully at 1-1 in my opinion.
-
My thoughts exactly.

Yep, I referenced it above...they even broke it down on the postgame or in the 2nd OT intermission. It was the worst offense of the three.
-
Well, the refs missed a third too-many-men on Chicago in OT, but who's counting? Overall I thought the players did a hell of a job of keeping it clean throughout the OTs and not really giving us a whole lot of reason to talk about the refs swallowing their whistles.

Saw rumblings of a broken leg on Twitter this morning.* Yikes. I had a tough time winding down last night, too. But, when I did fall asleep I slept pretty good! * Edit: Early this morning...looks like it's official now.
-
The Bruins' two best periods last night were OT1 and OT2. Oh, and how about Campbell doing all he could to contribute on the PK after taking that shot off his leg? They fed off that in a huge way.

Shut sports down...completely...they're too dangerous.

Even the NBA has less tolerance for "floppers" these days...sheesh!

Did you happen to see UND a little farther down the list...3rd from the bottom?

Are you hoping to actually catch up to Goon in this lifetime?

The difference is our journalists don't need to go undercover for these guys to get caught...the cops seem to be doing it just fine.
-
I hope they make the playoffs, but to my untrained eye they are lacking depth on the back end and grit up front.

I remember using siouxhockey.com before siouxsports.com. Wasn't siouxhockey.com run by Shane Kvalevog?

Damn...missed it by two months! I guess I'll just sit over here at my own table...
