  2. You may have read that wrong. The Sioux Shop is benefitting from the athlete's achievement by selling more hats (even if they were on sale). I don't believe the Sioux Shop is a non-profit organization.
  3. Sadly, I just realized I needed to submit my pick. Good luck to those who are still alive
  4. Count me as one of the 200 as well. I personally would add the 4th quarter comeback against GVSU in the Alerus to your list of football highlights. The UC Davis game was amazing. The student section was absolutely ruthless in their taunting of their QB all game long.
  5. Are you thinking of MacWilliam? Just wait until there are two MacMillans AND MacWilliam to keep track of in a game.
  6. Unfortunately, I am not so certain that this current coaching staff has the capability to develop players. I have worked with many of the coaches over the years and think that they are all great people, and it pains me to say this, but I agree that there needs to be some changes. IMHO it is on the coaches when fundamentals are lacking.
  7. I don't necessarily disagree with this, but I think it comes back more to his style. He is pretty laid back, & I wonder if that makes a difference here. Sometimes I think the best option is a merciless general that expects nothing but perfection. Not sure you could describe Muss that way ...
  8. Here is what bothers me the most: So there is a standard on what ways an NDSU player can break the law and avoid immediate suspension. It sets a dangerous precedent. Isn't breaking the law always breaking the law? Shouldn't there be punishment? And yes, I would have this same concern if it were any UND coach and Faison making the same statements.
  9. Included within the press release is a website for the new facility: http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=205670444 Quote: When can construction begin? The State Board of Higher Education has approved UND to fundraise for a $19.5 million UND Athletics Complex. Budgets are being finalized and we are in the process of securing all funds. The building will be built on donations from alumni, friends and corporations. Construction can begin once the total cost of the project (including construction and financing)is secured in pledges and cash gifts. *Not sure why it won't let me create a quote box
  10. Based on Schlossman's tweet (retweet), that's a pretty good guess
  11. Sorry Hammersmith, but you have an error: Students with an ACT score of 18 or higher can enroll in Engl 110, not Engl 120.
  12. So with that logic, all 100+ players must be using, too, right? This was also in the article (sorry it won't let me use the "quote" function): Watkins was the sole focus of the warrant, while Belotti lived in a locked, separate basement apartment and kept Watkins from entering his room, Sandberg said. It doesn't seem like the two were BFFs
  13. My former job at UND included interesting opportunities like providing campus tours for alumni (on a bus...with a microphone). I got to tag along for their tour of the Ralph and we were able to check out all of the locker rooms. As we went through the shower area, there were, ahem, athletic supporters hanging from hooks. The highlight of the tour for me: seeing 80+ year old women giggling like schoolgirls over seeing jockstraps!
  14. According to Schlossman's tweet...maybe soon:
  15. My first thought was that Hakstol has decided to eliminate the Associate Head Coach position and just have Assistant Coaches. Can you really "demote" someone?
  16. So if it is the right thing to do, what justifiable reason could there be to choose the alternative?
  17. Just to clarify... I totally agree with you, I just think Chicago would be a more fun place to visit.
  18. Omaha does have a sweet zoo... BUT Chicago would rule.
