Seems like a first class character. He did spend a ton of time in the USHL so if he was taking classes he could be ready to graduate. Still I think next year there will be opportunity for experienced forwards.

Denver would be an awfully tough 2nd round opponent. Sure we got the result, but DU could have whooped us in St. Paul. But to be the best you have to beat the best. A few years ago the tournament committee flipped DU and CC based on the results at the X. This was clearly in violation of their formulas, but it did set a precedent. I think if UND wins and Yale loses, UND might be #1 overall. Silly equations aside, UND has had a far more impressive season and is more deserving of #1.

That was just sick skill by the Sioux. Not only Trupp's ridicules play but also the Frattin attempted between the legs behind the keeper attempt. CC's PP aside this game could have been a Sioux Route. Not to mention we were playing with only 6 forwards (from the beginning of the season) after Brock went out. 12 forwards, three starters out injured, 2 defenseman, 1 ejected...

I think that we are realistically playing with 1 more defensman that optimal this year so a net reduction of one would be OK. That said we are still waiting on Molenar and there is a Zajac brother that had not committed...
