  1. Homer...
  2. I agree *hangs head in shame*
  3. Painful memory there Goon, +1 for the imagery though...
  4. Knight and Nelson will be the top two centers (per Hak) so Rowney to 3rd line.
  5. Well our top 6 should be as good as anyone, but many freshman that need to step up. We should have the best Goaltending and Defense in the nation. Defensive forwards will be key. Top 6? Kristo Knight Grimaldi Miller Nelson Rodwell? Regulars: Rowney Lamoureux ? Fill in: Dicken MacMillan St. Clair Parks O' Donnell Di Puma Blood - Forbert MacWilliam - Simpson Gleason - Mattson Fill in: Hill Panzarella Senkbeil Goaltending Dell Eidsness Maris
  6. Mayo Partnering in Grand Forks
  7. Latest Update... Gregs staying would be huge. Kristo - Knight - Gregoire Rodwell - Grimaldi - Miller Rowney - Nelson - X Lamoureux - X - X Fill in: Dicken MacMillan St. Clair Parks O' Donnell Blood - Forbert MacWilliam - Simpson Gleason - Mattson Fill in: Hill Panzarella Senkbeil Goaltending Dell Eidsness Maris 14 forwards, 9 d-men, and 3 Goalies is about perfect... Maybe another forward?
  8. I keep thinking that we may see more Gleason at forward.
  9. Latest Update... and down to 19 NHL Draft Picks... Gregs staying would be huge. Bruneteau to Vermont. Cichy to somewhere... Kristo - Knight - Gregoire Rodwell - Grimaldi - Miller Rowney - Nelson - X Lamoureux - X - X Fill in: Dicken MacMillan St. Clair Parks O' Donnell Blood - Forbert MacWilliam - Simpson Gleason - Mattson Fill in: Hill Panzarella Goaltending Dell Eidsness Maris 14 forwards, 8 d-men, and 3 Goalies is about perfect... Maybe another forward? How much faith do teh Sioux have in Panzarella, because Gleason can play forward?
  10. I would have to say dismantling a very good Denver team 6-1 in the regional final.
  11. Nice Analysis +1
  12. The news on Jason Gregoire has been decidedly quiet. I think he is the difference between a very good top 10 in the nation team and a WCHA favorite, top 3 team. He certainly has the talent to go pro, but if he comes back he would be perhaps our most reliable goal scorer. As good as Matt Frattin was down the stretch, Jason might have been better. With Gregoire the Sioux will be likely to have 3 potent scoring lines. Gregoire and Knight could be paired with an incoming freshman with the ability to take a good feed and snipe the corner, much like Hextall. I could see these all as outstanding lines: Gregoire - Knight - ? (NHL Caliber Talent) Miller - Grimaldi - Kristo (fastest line in hockey) Rodwell - Nelson - ? (I think these 2 will explode as Sophomores) Best Defense and Goaltending in the Nation. So Jason, the Sioux Nation wants you back...
  13. Sad Update... and down to 20 NHL Draft Picks... Gregs staying would be huge. Honestly I just don't get the Hextall signing, but I thought the same about Zajac and was way wrong there. Kristo - Knight - Gregoire Rodwell - Grimaldi - Miller Rowney - Nelson - X Lamoureux - X - X Fill in: Cichy Bruneteau Dicken MacMillan St. Clair Parks O' Donnell Blood - Forbert MacWilliam - Simpson Gleason - Mattson Fill in: Hill Panzarella Goaltending Dell Eidsness Maris
  14. So if I count correctly we may have 21 NHL draft picks on the 2011-2012 team. We will not suffer from a lack of talent. 17. Trupp, great players come through often, great players that can do what he does are so rare...
  18. This team added to the mystique of the greatest college hockey program. They can join all of us in celebrating the next championship.
  19. Big Congrats to DrunkHockeyGuy, it is one thing to grow a playoff beard or bleach your hair, but the dedication to grow jowls to look like a Bulldog is really special...
