to the hell with the NHL, bettman should have been on his dirty hands and knees begging for a free 1 year contract from ESPN to show interest then do a deal the next season. it isnt like VS is paying out of their azzes for the nhl. before they took any deal. espn always supported the nhl when they had it and show appropriate highlights after game nights with melrose. hockey is and has been dead right now overall as a sporta nd especially being a awful tv sport to begin with doesnt help

ist great but not making the top 10 is pretty common. that means 140-150 other players didnt crack the top 10 and 20-30 of those will be first round picks. its great knight did so well, that kid has come out of nowhere with his play last season and hak and company sure knew what the hell they were doing to this point. i understand why they do it and test out but its like how dumb the nfl combine is where you can tear it up ON THE FIELD for 3 years then have a bad 40 and drop 2 rounds. if you can play you can play. thats the bottom line. i have full confidence mattson and kn ght are gona be special players at UND. they will both crack the lineup nightly. i believe knight has been coming in along with mattson for a while now. i think both will be there when school starts and im sure we will find out soon from hak. just looking at roster size its not doable to have forney as the 5th forward coming in and mattson though. just doesnt add up so who knows

yeah it was obvious from the auction as they are selling his jerseys. remember his jerseys arent game worn, they are game issued and maybe a home jersey took a puck or 2 in warmups if he ever dressed as a 3rd goalie. just find a guy who can take some pucks in practice and is a good locker room guy as they usually always have had.

i would look for knight to be coming in. i believe they are waiting on forney and his decision. i have also heard mattson is coming in but with kristo, cichy and bruneteau locks to come in i dont see another forward after forney if he makes the 5th forward. who knows but im sure we will find out soon

sid, malkin and the pens in 6. detroit may be a little banged up overall still and i think the way the pens are playing its gona cause problems. even straight up say pens this year. the wngs are just so damn good in all areas of the game but ill take the pens this year.

for sure, thats always a good one. we can praise and kiss ass all we want but if someone is playing like crap how dare you critique them like they are 7 year olds that will take their stick and skates and go home. please. anything is fair game towards any player/coach as long as it doesnt get personal. thats where the line needs to be drawn and i dont have any tolerance for that bullsh%& along with many others but game/player critique is fair game

exactly and i think everyoe understands that and we dont need a new mascot/name/logo, just use the ND and other variations of north dakota on the hockey sweaters and all athletics. dont just change to change for no reason.

yeah i never thoguht about it really until last december sitting at a bar in grand forks and my buddy jason brought it up. took a minute to think about and i was all for it. i sure hope they dont get a new one but understand if they do but will stick with my sioux jerseys forever

just a update, white was traded to lincoln. nick mattson will play in ushl taken by youngstown in ushl and will play there in expansion draft CICHY, KRISTO, BRUNETEAU, GLEASON, MACWILLIAM AND DELL in for sure as of now. waiting on FORNEY then see what happens with knight who should be coming in as well

JPL fined The ECHL announced Tuesday that it has fined Alaska Aces goalie Jean-Philippe Lamoureux an undisclosed amount under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline for throwing a piece of Wranglers equipment into the crowd at Sullivan Arena during game 2 of the National Conference finals Sunday night.
