they didnt wear them much at all last year. the style was designed for on ice performance for less cluth grabbing and so forth so i would look for most all teams and makers to offer this style over the years and more teams switch to it

they sell eqipment every year, its just that its not made public every year to buy. its all old stuff that they need to get rid of then the proceeds go back to the hockey team for future needs. nike is getting out of the hockey world so it could have a little to do with that as well but they do sell a good amount of stuff every of season. i believe gemini may be the new makers again?? i thought i saw it somewhere but i could be wrong. the logo doesnt have much to do with it imo. they can get jerseys made in no time if needed be. so your question was new uniforms?? if their contract with nike/bauer is done then yes they will be getting new uniforms. the design doesnt have to change if they choose not to but the makers can obviously. maybe they will go to that swift style for all 3 colors when they change instead of the standard style

sid and AO are two of the best players if not the best 2 in the league and thank god someone in the NHL brings flare to the game which is so needed in AO. Not sure what media you are referring to as there isnt much major media covergae anyhow for the NHL, all tsn (canada), nhl network and vs and thats it pretty much. thank goodness for sid and AO and malkin, the nhl needed them and they are the new faces in a sport that is ran by a complete idiot. any covergare even if it is just AO and sid is still good for the league but the thing is its deserved credit they get as they are great players. sean avery was dead on in his E60 interview when he said the nhl is broing and most of their stars are very boring as well. like him or not hes exactly right and thats why AO especially is huge for the sport in north america. the rivalry between sid and AO is great for the sport and the rivalry between AO and malkin is just as good for the sport. everyone knows the redwings are a dominant franchise and thats why many dislike them as casual fans want to see other teams besides one team win it year after year.
