different players overall and the nhl is different now as well. porter was last late draft pick who never signed with chicago and vv will sign the minute he ends next season. will he make it as a nhl regular? who knows but he will get a shot after a year or 2 in the AHL like pretty much every other young player not drafted top 15 and ready to make a impact right away in the nhl. porter will be a up and down player for now but he was one of their last cuts last training camp so thats good for him and he has had a solid ahl season. all it takes is the one chance.
-
thats what his line chart suggests with the 4 guys centering the other 2 players
-
just depends on which forwards come in and which play juniors. im guessing hak only wants 2 extra forwards instead of 3 but may have to bring in a extra forward to make 3 depending on the player and where he is drafted ect.....we know cichy, kristo and bruneteau are in for sure.....knight a high possibility and mattson and rowney as wild cards and who knows on forney. we lose 5 forwards in duncan, watkins, kozek, miller (counts as forward) and martens. if he just brings in in 4 and not 5 to have the 2 extra forwards..who knows..if thats the case then i have no idea and will guess knight but either way we should know soon

cichy with 1 goal (pp) and 1 assist in a 4-0 lead in the 3rd as of now in game 1 game sheet -
this is great for TJ, could go along way for a olympic spot. now we have 3 former sioux with blake, stafford and oshie
-
not at all and that was what i was referring to. he built that program and brought in all those players that could now field almost a whole nhl team and do pretty well i would guess
-
hell of a game between the hawks and flames, series tied at 2. best of 3 now
-
fun series to watch, great hard hitting every shift. cant beat the nhl playoffs ! go jonny go !!
-
it will be for the flames if they continue sucking like the hoover 5000 and not just the regular hoover like the hawks were in first half of the 2nd period
-
maybe as he had that high ankle sprain earlier in the year but he still was full tilt every play from what i watched all 4 games. the blues as a whole couldnt get by luango. that guys a perfect goalie to get a team very far. dam hes good.
-
hell its the off season just people expressing opinions on a topic that was brought up im guessing most of the early departures are done with the exception of a few here and there coming up will be nice to have VV and his leadership back for the sioux if he does do so which it seems, lets hope he can turn that last month of play into a entire season next year and see him flourish into a all american type player!!
-
bayda and canes win with .8 seconds left, could have been worse for zajac and parise...they could have lost with .1 seconds left tj oshie and the blues fall short and get swept by vancouver. hell of a rookie year for tj and the blues as well. that will be a team to reckoned with next season when they get EJ back and add another great young talent. the blues are for real again! first former sioux to move on is ryan johnson with vancouver, congrats to ryan zajac and parise tied up at 2 games with ryan bayda carolina commodore and bluejackets go down 3-0 to detroit toews and the hawks play game 4 wednesday night, hawks are up 2-1 in this series FORMER SIOUX IN STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS - ELIMINATED and STILL PLAYING TJ OSHIE (blues) MIKE COMMODORE (blue jackets) RYAN BAYDA (hurricanes) RYAN JOHNSON (canucks) ZACH PARISE (devils) TRAVIS ZAJAC (devils) JONATHAN TOEWS (blackhawks)

rowney had only goal tonight for grand prairie as they lose and are down 3-0 for the doyle cup vs vernon of the bchl, rowney has 1-1=2 in series as of now -
the pipeline is pretty much done. with jp parise gone and the way they have shifted the different types if players they have now. doesnt mean we wont get 1 or 2 here and there but nothing like it was when zach started the funnel

not sure why it would bother you it is his decision. he was never going to college, just using it im sure for leverage with kitchener as some do that. it seemed from the get go he was major junior all the way. i would have taken him in a heart beat. hes a big time hockey player but his grades were a issue from a few sources i had talked to. its not like und and bu were sitting on pins and needles, im pretty sure bu and und knew for a while what the deal was with him but he had to do what he thought was best on his end for negotiating with kitchener bottom line is he wasnt going to college
-
which is why you see a few very good young nhl players that have the option to come down for the playoffs play over tryout players they bring in also im not sure if tryout players can play in playoffs or not depending on how late they arrive in the season, cant remember on this
-
correct http://hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=83839 these tryout players usually dont see time in playoffs, mostly just end of season stints when the college season is over
-
yeah usually those tryouts are just for the last however many games they have til playoffs if that team makes it then the team will bring a few top players down to help them in their playoff run so the tryout players sit
-
then you dont have it set up right or have a very weak HD signal for some reason. if done right there is a big difference in HD to non HD channels and especially hockey, or your eyes are just messed up
-
i think you missed my point or misread it. HD is so much different than regular. its impossible NOT to tell the difference
-
exactly, it is impossible not to tell the difference. not even close
-
maybe they will start drafting minnesota kids if thats the player they actually want and more college players. cant wait to see the new group and see how they run things
-
yes he does, he picks 1 player from team canada yearly to gush over at the wjt i dont mind it overall though as the guys from tsn just love hockey.
