  1. This is Bye Week. So what better is there to show than our HPC. The Nickel Trophy has been seen inside the HPC. How about adding HPC Phase II
  2. Bye Week next, then Grizz at the Hawks Nest
  3. Attendance in Greeley 4,902 70's slightly cloudy 2 hr 49 min

  5. Anyone attending, let us know a guesstimate of UND fans at the game? 33 degrees in GF right now.
  6. Completely agree, this game will have a large effect on the attendance for the Montana game. Then, Montana game for the next home game. We pretty much have to continuing winning to give last years attendance average of 10,500 a challenge.
  7. He got burnt at the bridge. From that day, a lot of people in ND lost their support in the SIOUX. Edit: That's when I crossed the line and became a supporter of the HAWK.
  8. Saturday, September 29th - 12 pm MT - 1:00 PM Central Time Pluto TV Greeley, Colorado - Nottingham Field is a 8,533-seat multi-purpose grass stadium in Greeley, Colorado. It is home to the University of Northern Colorado Bears football team, as well as the Bears track and field programs. Opened in 1995.
  9. I went to the portables south of the season tailgating at 2:30, stood in line for 25 minutes.
  10. Thinking u get your wish, the frame probably stays - screen be same width, but not as tall?
  11. I surely hope not, this Phase II drive is going to be a challenge.
  12. I will do that, haven't been below the grand stands since mid 70's.
  13. Ralph Engelstad gave the state of ND an enormous gift with a big vision for UND MH. Thank You. The gift being immediate use / future interest, with building (on UND land) paid for before the 1st puck was dropped. The Ralph, as it is organizationally setup, is like a LION. It is going to feed itself first. Doesn't seem like anyone is going to crack the code to change this practice prior to 2030 when the University will own the building (past few U presidents have tried, all that this accomplishes is an upset daughter). There seems to be a goal here to keep MH a #1 program, is this a bad thing, maybe not? Does The Ralph have the $ to build Phase II? No, to borrow some to help build it, maybe, but probably not a good idea? I get the concerns over the 52%, but after appropriate expense are accounted for and the additional $500k to $1M that is given to the AD each year, is there anything really left over from ticket sales? There are around two more years of payments for The Betty. In the mean time, we that want Phase II need to make donations and help find the other donations. Chaves has Phase II as one of his priorities, going to need some heavy hitters also. Let's get this going.
  14. I think there is sympathy among many here? Going to take a long shot guess here. During UND's early pregnancy with "The Ralph", if the ND State Legislature would of accepted parental responsibilities, we wouldn't be getting a $3.8M scoreboard upgrade here next year?
  15. They will continue to get better. The Motzko deal/purchase (steal from St. Cloud) is a sign. The B1G has the resources, they will figure it out.
  16. Dec. 13, 2011 – Daktronics, Inc. of Brookings, S.D., announced that Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D., has installed new Daktronics LED video displays at their facility. “The Ralph Engelstad Arena is committed to providing a world-class guest experience,” said Jody Hodgson, General Manager. “Our new six millimeter boards from Daktronics help us achieve that goal.” https://www.daktronics.com/Company/NewsReleases/Pages/RalphEngelstadArena.aspx So that was 7 years ago and be interesting to learn the details of these new upgrades.
  17. Be a High Roller on this one, find a Bookie, get Some Action with Hanging the SW 40 and Take The Points before the Line Changes and we aren't the Dog anymore. After Sundays Fighting Hawks' players reading of this Forum, it's a Lock Pic!
  18. We had "Yell Leaders" in front of the stands at Memorial Stadium in the early 70's.
  19. This is really a poor practice. Someone upstairs doesn't understand home field advantage, or it's the game day program manager, or whoever it is, it must get figured out. That being said, a part of the crowd doesn't understand they need to make noise prior to snaps when our defense is on the field, and why they need to do it. I sit in Section 215 next to the students. Some are so lost as far as crowd participation goes, that I think they need a map. Maybe an article in the Dakota Student could explain how this home field advantage can work and the advantages of doing so. I would think it's a matter of educating the student fans, and the rest of the fans that need guidance will join in accordingly. Edit: Does anyone know someone working at the Dakota Student. The crowd did help create some penalties on Idaho St.
  20. We dropped out, with 5 teams with more points than us under The Top 25. Idaho State a few points behind us. So does that tells us the pollsters think we will win next week? http://www.fcs.football/cfb/polls.asp?div=fcs Others: Montana State (229) , South Dakota (203) , Samford (171) , Princeton (88) , North Dakota (61) , Missouri State (56) , Western Illinois (49) , Harvard (30) , Idaho State (28)
  21. A small sample pool from the posters responded, with results of 50/50. Maybe the Team (players/coaches) share the same results? These games are played very seriously and have become a swing of highs and lows. There is talent on this team and hopefully the coaches are close to getting it harnessed. The last two games each ended on the results of our last possession. We need to have the game in control before then. I'm thinking the players are proud to be here, work hard, and believe in our coaches. The coaches must get us to play consistently through out the game, one game at a time.
  22. Going to be really tough to beat last weeks show.
  23. Who said FB is just a game? Have any of you had a good nights sleep since THE BALL GAME?
