    South Dakota State played a few minutes against Iowa State and then game gets cancelled due to the weather! SDSU walks out of the stadium with $425,000, no loss, and no injuries. Win! Win!

    Paid season ticket holders count on official NCAA attendance, but in UND's case, CC members get some free VB games and some games charge for, unless UND has changed the free games?

    There was not a good walk on crowd. Disappointing, 3-8 as just mentioning has to be more of a factor than Thursday game. The student section filling up kept us from real embarrassing attendance numbers.

    This game was pretty much what realistically should of been expected, and that is with the areas still of concern. After all it was game 1, and with recovering from last year, there is no way were we going to look like a polished playoff team. We will get better with more games under our belt. 7 or 8 wins still looks realistic. The next two opponents will be a big challenge. Hopefully we are ready for a run when we start with the Big Sky teams.

    The visitors did buy a 100 tickets, so apprently they are planning on showing up? One sure couldn't tell it by the secrecy of this team.

    177 tickets showed up for sale in the visitors section 217 on Ticketmaster this morning. Looking for a large walkon crowd.

    Wow, GAME DAY. This seemed like the longest off season for me, just hoping for them to return to the form of the 2016 team. These first two games probably won't be much of test, have to wait for Sammy for that, but it will be great to see the new team in action! Go Hawks, need a large walkon crowd!

    There are just over 3,000 seats still available to the public. There are 2156 seats in the 3 student sections, don't know if the students get them all? Or if they will all be filled? The visiting section {lower 217} is still blanked out, so I'll assume some of these will show up as available tomorrow? Most games last year there were over a thousand walkons. With that, looking like an attendance of 10,000.

    The article was good, Tom had not much to go on since they're so secretive about the start of their season. Not much on the internet or in the press at Itta Bena, Mississippi on this team playing tomorrow.

    Taligating in less than a day, haven't seen a pissing contests yet. I remember when they started at Memorial Stadium.

    Your comment has merit, tomorrow is game day 1. I expect MVSU to be somewhat improved from last year, showing more so not till mid season. We win by 30 to 40.

    I subcribe to the Herald at my office and when I show up for work and this paper is on the front desk and opened to the sports page, well, I just about cancelled.

    I kind of had this feeling when I first heard that both ND schools were playing them. I will have to say our scheduling is getting better for the future as compared to our last 10 years.
