  1. We just missed the top 25 in today's NCAA Stats poll https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/football/fcs/stats-fcs-top-25 Others receiving votes: North Dakota (314) , UNI (262) , Florida A&M (169) , Chattanooga (163) , Idaho State (160)
  2. This crowd was amazing, like some of the best games in the Winter Sports Center / later named Ralph Engelstad Arena, from before start through past the finish of the game. The new Ralph somehow just doesn't have this what I will call here very energetic cheering for the whole game (don't know if it''s like the more family philosophy at today's games or what. The electricity was in the air like for a F4 Game. I would say most fans yesterday at the game gave it all they had. The PA system played all the right songs for the fans to enthusiastically join in. This was a top shelf production. My daughter ran into and chatted with some Goof fans after period 1 and they just couldn't believe all the cheering and how energetic allllll the fans were. Well worth the trip, met many friends at tailgating that I haven't seen for many years. Started the tailgating at noon with the FB game on a large screen. Many fans that didn't have tickets stayed in the tailgating to watch the hockey game on the outdoor screen. The Hawks played very good, and had to mature a ton in this game. To Coach Motzko, who recently joined the team with the .0001 scar, this was a non conference early season game. To most fans that attended it was a big win over an old time rival, and one of the better game experiences they have attended.
  3. Back up ahead! B4 you get really stuck!
  4. We need to do our part against the Goofs tomorrow. Motzko needs a shaken up!
  5. Sell them $15 seats in the 4 corners
  6. "This promotion runs all the way up until kickoff and is only for remaining tickets in sections 201, 209, 210 and 218." This $15 seat price is only for the 4 corner sections and they should always be discounted, till maybe the Hawks' Nest consistently sell outs. The view in these seats is not as good as the other sections.
  7. ^^^^^^^ and then on top of that we repeat all this troll BS like somehow giving it some merit.
  8. The Poll that starts to come out with a week or two left in the season done by the NCAA. In the mean time, they all go on favoritism, coaches temperament, what your team did in the last few years, guessing, attendance, quality losses, some of the teams wins - unless you are a favorite, marching band uniforms, road wins, student section, local teams, conference affiliation, cheer leaders, FBS wins, butt kicking, quality of mascot, and # of salty message board posters.
  9. Yes, we need to beat Weber. If we beat Weber, we then need to beat the next team or we will lose more momentum in the eyes of the decision makers than we gained in the win to Weber. Because we haven't earned BS "voter respect" in the polls.
  10. $3900 was raised if $3000 went to the first funding drive, $3000 + this $5000 = $8000 total drive. Therefore we are $100 short of half way there? Should be good traffic on this forum this week with 2 Big Games at the same time.
  11. That will change every week as we enter the FCS Stats top 25 this week and slowly climb the polls each week (if we continue to win, Weber going to be tough) as teams above us slip.
  12. I would agree with you there. Now, how could we lose this game? Special Teams. A lot of posts on here this season about how special teams could possible cost us a game this season. We had a night mare of problems in Sacramento on special teams, this has to be a major corrective focus this week. Play clean ball here and we don't lose. Hopefully we got that terrible special teams bad game out of our system last Saturday.
  13. Lots of hockey left, about 20 home games a season compared to 5 FB. Going to hurt to miss this Weber game.
  14. What a great Monday morning after a Saturday W. I'm also giving my tickets away, would of really liked to be at this BIGGEST home game so far this season. The Madison Square Garden game was on the day of Richmond playoff game, go figure?
  15. Coaches told me UNI will happen after one more season. They are throwing in the cattle school at the same time. Then all we need to do is schedule Montana as often as possible. Run the table on these three and we should be in the NCAA Stats Top 25, of course they'll get quality losses for this and still be ranked above us.
  16. From your link "Big Sky Conference – In the 13-team conference, only UC Davis is above .500 (3-1) on the road. Eastern Washington is the only team that’s .500 (2-2)." UND is 3-1 on the road, that loss being Washington. Does UND factor in a little here, being UND is what I would call a semi-independent as it is playing a Big Sky Conference schedule? And, when Big Sky teams play the Hawks, it's a conference game for them, but not for UND.
  17. A real concern for us. Special teams played terrible yesterday, need to get them on task for Weber state.
  18. I know others giving their tickets away. A good show by the Hawks on the field could be a step in the fan building process.
  19. I'm giving my 10 tickets to fans that will be at the Weber State Game, may turn some of them into season tickets holders.
  20. Thank You, Smith scored 2 goals and our Hockey Team gets their first W.
  21. With a wave of students like this showing up each year, will this cause a demise to college sports?
