I almost find it terrible for football besides the great crowd noise! But there is another board for that complaint. Anyway, just read an op-ed piece in the WSJ about how the NCAA should stop Final Fours in large Football stadiums due to a loss of "coziness". Can someone tell me the size difference between a hockey rink and basketball court.

Might be a good incentive to lure in a P5 game...(Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, etc) even if a two for one arrangement.

Check out Bemidji Brewing if ever in the area. One of my favorite localocal brewers. They always have interesting flavors and not afraid to mix it up often. Just relocated into a new space, so hoping the start a bigger distribution soon.

I work at a local liquor store and the amount of Busch Light we sell makes me sad. However, it does seem more people are buying more craft beers like Bells, Surleys, Bent Paddle etc. than Sam Adams, Bluee Moon, Heineken, and Leinenkugels (except Summer Shandy) type of beers.

Today is opening day for college baseball which for the first time since 1901 will not include UND. No doubt it was expensive due to large rosters and frequent travel. However, if powers at be knew that UND would eventually would be in the Summit League would it have been saved?

I find it more interesting the sales tax increase in Grand Forks failed, but a similar one in Fargo for flood diversion passed. Both were I think 2:1 margins

This UND grad has several friends who are dedicated BSU alums. We always look to this series. Disappointed it's not home/home, I love going to Bemidji. Going to be a great weekend of trash talking!
